Reviews
First review: I do believe I was one of the first customers if not the first of this brand new location!
I am super happy it has returned to South Wheaton and they have breakfast at this location!!
They have burritos and they have bowls. They have two sizes of bowls— one is $4.95 if you have a smaller appetite, and they have a bigger one for $7.95 if you’re a little hungrier.
They will be adding coffee tomorrow as well. I met the owner Brent, who is very friendly and very customer service oriented.
Please be aware this is a cashless location, which I quite like, because I tend to not carry cash.
I got the egg and potato bowl. (The one that was smaller) and I got a chicken egg and potato bowl also in the smaller size for another person.
I very much liked my egg and potato bowl. Enough food for my appetite and delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked. They were not burnt and they were not undercooked, plus you were allowed to add the toppings that you want and you can’t beat that for $4.95!
They also have a kids menu!
I definitely intend to be a regular here not only for breakfast but also for lunch and dinner!
So I came here Christmas Eve if I got here at about 10:18 AM, the sign above the person making the food says breakfast until 1030. I get there. They have no breakfast and they’ve started putting out lunch stuff. They told me I could get lunch and there was no breakfast and that it ended a long time ago. I pointed to the sign. I’m like it says 1030. She just shrugged her shoulders like OK whatever with some kind of like nasty attitude I’m like OK I guess I’m gonna get lunch. I go to get lunch and they don’t have any other meat except chicken which I don’t like the chicken and she basically told me I had to get the chicken and I’m like so you want me to pay for something that I don’t like and then I’m not going to eat them like I’m not doing that and I walked Out
Fast forward to today
I get here at about 9:30 in the morning. Looking forward to the breakfast because now I know they should definitely have it and I get there and the stuff looks like it’s been sitting for days.
I go ahead and order because they’re probably not gonna put new food out.
I guess that’s my fault cause I guess I should’ve said something and demanded fresh food, but I didn’t want to really be a Karen
I just couldn’t eat it
The other person in my party said the same thing that their food tasted rotten and they actually want their money back
so I said something to the guy in the black shirt. His name started with an E and was a letter name. I cannot recall maybe Ethan or something.
I told him this food is disgusting. The eggs are almost hard and I cannot eat these. He says give me two minutes I’ll make you more eggs
15 minutes later. I got a bowl of eggs and he’s like OK here you go
OK, well now what do I do with just a little bowl of eggs we’re leaving and now there’s nothing on it and that’s not even what I wanted
the customer service here is very lacking since the owner has not been there.
I understand they’re still new but it’s not that hard to take the ingredients, and put it into a bowl or a burrito and freshness really counts.
Today’s food was the absolute polar opposite of what I had the very first day, the cilantro was rotten and turning black and had no flavor.
I added pictures of the very hard egg and rotten cilantro that basically I was forced to eat by washing it down
I don’t think I’m going to go back here and the other person in my party said the same thing they need some quality control, some retraining and some fresh food
I was so excited for this to come here too, but I’m extremely disappointed. I can make eggs at home and put salsa on it and it will be fresh.
We decided to give Qdoba in Danada Wheaton another try. It was like night and day compared to our original experience several weeks ago! First, we were greeted with a cheerful “hello” upon entering. The workers behind the counter were all friendly and helpful. Secondly, they seemed fully staffed. There were plenty of workers behind the counter to both take orders and make food. I tried the Fajita Quesadilla and was pleasantly surprised. (The grilled onions “make” the flavor of the steak come alive.) My hubby had his usual chicken quesadilla & was pleased. I got a cup of the 3-Cheese Queso, also. Food, atmosphere and service were all excellent this time (which is what we were expecting the first time.) So, I am revising my review from one star to five. Keep up the good work!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Late Dec/Early Jan 2026
After anticipating the arrival of the new Danada Wheaton Qdoba, we were very disappointed. Upon entering around 11:15 AM, we were ignored. The woman behind the counter was way more interested in the bowls she was making than the flesh and blood customers in front of her. Head down, refusing to look up and acknowledge customers is just plain rude! Online orders appeared to be a priority here over real life customers. We felt like an annoyance to them by even coming in! We left and went to the Qdoba in North Wheaton, which has excellent customer service. If we go back to the Danada location, I’ll update my review.
