Staff was great, atmosphere was good. The food was good but I don’t think a small pizza and small pasta should be $50 (with tip) for what your getting. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good just wish the portions were bigger for what you are paying.

First time at Amici’s—and it won’t be our last!

We were recommended to try Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria, and it absolutely did not disappoint! We’ve been meaning to go for a while, but the timing was never quite right—until today, and we’re so glad we finally made it in.

It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, but there was a good, steady flow of people dining in, which is always a great sign. My husband ordered the “small” BBQ chicken pizza, which was surprisingly generous in size—definitely more like a large! He loved it, and I have to agree. I’ve tried BBQ pizza from Extreme Pizza before, but Amici’s really takes the win. The BBQ flavor is well-balanced—not too overpowering—and just all around delicious.

I had the penne pasta with meat sauce. Honestly, it reminded me of spaghetti with penne noodles, but that’s totally on me—I picked it knowing it was a simple option, and it still tasted great. Next time I’ll probably try a different pasta just to mix things up.

We also ordered the cheesy bread and WOW—so good! Gooey, flavorful, and definitely a must-try.

The place is family friendly too, which was perfect for us. We saw other families with little ones dining nearby, and our server Liz went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She gave us great recommendations, made us feel really welcome, and her service truly made our first visit extra special.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Amicis is just awesome. Its not just a pizza place, the lasagna is really good, as well as their other pasta dishes. The pizza is well, delicious. I grew up in San Francisco and there are plenty of good pizza places in SF. Amicis, is among if not the best and having it in Vacaville, just an hour from Sacramento worth the drive. Jackie, the hostess in Vacaville is very sweet and is always a joy to see and interact with. A place I have taken my kids to, many times and will visit many more times to come.

Amici’s in Vacaville is one of my favorite places to go with family! The vibe is always friendly and welcoming — the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy great food, and actually have a conversation. It’s casual but still feels special.

The pizza here is amazing — I’m obsessed with the thick crust! It’s perfectly golden on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and holds up so well under all the cheese and toppings. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it’s always baked just right.

The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently great whether you’re dining in or taking out. They make you feel right at home every time.

If you’re looking for a spot in Vacaville with delicious pizza, good prices, and a welcoming atmosphere for families or friends, Amici’s is definitely the place to go!

so it was hard to find a place that satisfied his pizza cravings. We ordered takeout and upon pickup it was super busy. The workers (assuming owners) were super friendly and because we waited 10 min, they gave us a free cheesecake slice. I loved the consistency of the pizza dough. Doesn’t fall apart when you pick it up, crunchy crust and chewy on the inside. We also tried the Detroit pizza! We were told it’s their fan favorite and we definitely agree. It is however, on the pricier side.

In town visiting & went in for a quick bite. Liked the layout of the place & very the service was very nice. Tried a little of everything & everything was good but pricey. You can taste the oven & it gives a different taste. Kind of like eat coast brick pizza. We’ll be back to try more.

If you don’t tip 20% on a pick-up order, they will purposefully make it wrong. The staff treats the customer with contempt at that point. It’s been repeated time and again. Feels like an upper managment decision and training. Would not recommend or go back to Amici’s in the future.
Response to owner: My experience with this location has been over the past 3 years. This is not a one time occurrence. Feedback was submitted to Amici’s website before posting the original review, no response was received. Personally I am moving on from being a customer. The tactics are off putting, 10-15% tip on a pick up order should be plenty for the staff. Saying tips are not expected is grossly under- estimating the reality at your restaurant.

This place is an absolute GEM, the fire brick oven rocks. All the pizzas are burned to a perfection…..the garlic cheese bread is amazing, the meat balls and marinara were good. To the folks whom need ranch their ranch is Great…….overall we try to take all of our visiting family members here.

A good place to eat. Had Pizza, Salad, and iced tea. Not OMG but good for me. Crust was intentially over baked as a style, but was not as thin and crispy as some brick fired places. Tea was decent but not memorable. Caesar salad had optional anchovies. See image. Pizza was on time and hot. My wife enjoyed the salad. Prices were appropriate. Ambiance was conversable and staff was cordial, clean, and capable. Overall a safe experience to bring guests for a satisfying outing.
