Excellent pork BBQ, tasty brisket, and homemade sides. We were very impressed with this hidden gem restaurant. The owner spoke with us a long time and takes pride in his dishes. If you want delicious food, large portions, and great service, you should give it a try.

Wanted to try this place, so wife and myself ordered ribs platter only to be told the person who cooked them was at the store?? Said could be a long wait . So changed order to brisket sandwich and tots with pulled pork and nacho cheese . Food came not as warm as thought should have been . Brisket was good , coleslaw good, tots were also good. The hostess was very pleasant , would have really liked to try the ribs, and the ladybug’s were plentiful. Hope the cook gets back and brings the ribs. Mite be worth a try on a different day.

This was so disappointing after reading some great reviews. The brisket was edible, but the ribs were so overcooked, they were like jerky. The chicken was dry and the flavor was so strange. Will never return.

Took a chance and stopped for lunch. It hasn’t been opened very long and they haven’t got their sign up yet. Glad we found this place. Can’t say enough about the rustic decor, service and food. Had a nice fire going in the stone fireplace which was perfect on a snowy winter day. Tried the brisket sandwich and fried cabbage. My husband had the brisket too with fried potatoes. Everything was so good and loved their sweet jalapeno sauce. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Excellent food and well worth the 30 minute trip from our house. The portions are above average and the menu selections cover everyone’s tastes. We got a sampler platter with ribs, brisket, pulled pork and cornbread. The meats were smoked and seasoned perfectly! We also got bourbon wings which were amazing as well. All of the sides were great, our favorite side of the night was the baked beans. If you love good bbq, you won’t be disappointed!!

The Ribs was scrumptious, my husband usually does not like Ribs but when he tried this one, he said it’s the best Ribs he ever had! The wings was pretty good too. We thought it’s going to be hard to find wings like In WNY, but this place got it! We are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu and get more ribs and wings from them. Two thumbs up!

We stopped by on our way out of Rowlesburg to get something to eat. They were having a buffet with pulled pork, ribs, potatoes, baked beans, green beans, Mac and cheese, and corn bread. Everything was delicious. The bones pulled out clean with the ribs. Bim really enjoyed the baked beans and I thought the Mac and cheese was pretty good. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

First time ordering from this take out. First I’d like to talk about the ribs I could not slice the rack of ribs for serving. The ribs meat just fell off the bone so I didn’t have ribs I had over priced pulled pork. They was so over cooked! Now the chicken breast. Dry!! So dry!! They was not pulled and wrapped so over cooked! No the corn muffins way too much salt I had to throw together a honey butter sauce to try to balance out the salty. No container of sauce so I had to throw together my famous BBQ sauce for the ribs that turned into pulled pork because they was so over cooked. So this was not a good let’s take this down after that crazy response! And as a former kitchen manager that served over 800 ppl a day your food was bad period. So after your unprofessional response you get zero second chance! And I sugar coat nothing!

The food was awesome I ordered the maple ribs and my husband the brisket platter both was so great! The place inside is beautiful inside and the waitress was very nice! We will definitely be back.

I’m originally from Texas and this is pretty close to what kind of BBQ that we have. The brisket was tender and cooked to perfection. If you want good tasteful BBQ this is the place to go.
