Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I’ve been wanting to go here since they opened after what had to be a painful (it’s the County, pain is part of the process) and expensive (referencing the County again) renovation.
But it was difficult to get the buy in from my family due to their remembering the previous establishment at this address.
I finally got them to give it a try and WOW!!!
Amazingly well prepared food. It’s like a typic American grill had a baby with an authentic Pizzeria, with a real proper chef preparing the food. It’s simple in that none of the menu items will need to be explained to anyone but every thing I put into my mouth was perfectly prepared.
The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were perfectly fried in home made beer batter…
The burger perfectly cooked. The fries hot and crispy. The wings like the ones you find at The Anchor Bar in downtown Buffalo.
The pizza was huge and a thing of beauty. Crispy and fluffy at the same time. Deliciously thin with enough salt in the sauce. Good quality mozzarella and pepperoni. Perfectly baked in a very hot oven for a short time. It’s, it’s perfection.
The inside is huge and loses in the atmosphere area simply because of the design being dictated by the ADA requirements which places the tables so far apart that it loses the feel of what a smaller space with the same amount of tables or more tables in the same space would’ve had.
But that is not their choice. Regulations forced it on them.
Despite that and maybe even because of that, I’ll be frequenting this establishment!

The location is super convenient for those working at the Space Center.
I really love their spicy garlic parmesan wings and it paired incredibly with their margarita pizza! This is my go-to order.
My only problem with the food is that I keep ordering the same thing because it’s just that delicious I just can’t try anything else!
The atmosphere and staff are on point. I was truly surprised with the interior of the place. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks never stopped flowing.

I had not been to KDI since it closed years ago. I enjoyed all of the new staff. Vhilena was awesome to my entire softball team. Fun and courteous. Decent price on the beer and the fish and chips were great. Will continue to come on Monday nights after softball.

We ate at The Kings Duck for dinner last night (11/19/25) and had Fish and Chips and a Mushroom Cheeseburger both with fries. The fries were some of crispiest, and tastiest we have ever had! Also, the Mushroom Swiss Burger cooked medium rare was perfectly cooked, which is hard to get done correctly. The Fish was also very good!!! I would recommend The Kings Duck for really good food!

It’s great to see this restaurant come back again! We have eaten in several times and ordered pizza to go. The new owners are putting in a hard effort and it shows! The bartender/server Michelle goes out of her way to make sure you have the best experience. We live close by and went to the old restaurant 25 years ago and I think they are doing their best at revitalizing the restaurant and bringing the community back in.
