Took a guys trip to Marlinton to ride the Greenbrier River Trail and Monday Lick. Safe to say we were pretty hungry after riding almost 100 miles that weekend. We ate at Dari Land back to back days it was so good. Easily one of the best biscuit sandwiches I have ever had. Cant recommend the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit enough! Prices are good and they have outdoor seating. 100% will be back next time I’m in Marlinton

Definitely worth the visit…..you can eat inside, outside or go through the drive through. They have breakfast items, lunch items and lots of icecream options. Fast service and friendly staff. We had the reeses cup freezi(aka blizzard) and a banana split. Their custard is delicious. Will definitely be visiting again while in the area.

Was in town and had eaten at another establishment. Wanted some good custard. Had no idea but gave this place a whirl on a whim. They offer a vanilla base with different flavors ‘swirled’ in. I went regular vanilla in a waffle cone. This is what I think of when they say frozen custard. I don’t know if it was custard but it was ultra creamy. My relatives both got a vanilla chocolate swirl and they agreed about creaminess. They offered these cool little ‘pup’ cones for our four legged friends.

The gentleman that took and prepared our orders was extremely friendly and fast. The portions were well above expectations. I’m not sure how he stacked that much ice cream on top of a waffle cone! My sundae had an ample amount of toppings as well. My wife’s shake was equally impressive. Overall a wonderful experience.

I took my family here for some ice cream. I hadn’t been this way in a few years so it was nice to see that the dari-land was still here. They have the usual ice cream treats here but it’s been updated and a lot nicer than the last time i visited. The staff was very kind as well and had a sense of integrity for their job. I like how it is in the middle of town and within walking distance to everything else in Marlinton proper. it makes sense to grab your food here and head over to the park across the street or even continue along the greenbrier river trail. there is a lot of charm in the town and this is a feature of it in my opinion.

I rode my electric unicycle from North Caldwell and stopped at this fine establishment along the way. The food was excellent (especially their breakfast burritos), the prices were very reasonable, but what I enjoyed most was the hospitality. The owners of this place and their employees are good people. It’s ALWAYS a true gift for me, coming from the big city, into these small towns, because the energy is just so much better. You feel like you can actually breathe in these places, because these types of folks are a lot more genuine. That doesn’t mean that everyone in the cities are fake, but in all of my travels, I’ve certainly found a whole lot more realness in places like this. John Mellancamp definitely had a point in his song, “Small Town.”

On July 10,2024 my sister and were traveling through Marlinton in search of coffee and breakfast. We stopped a young lady heading into a car dealership for a place and she recommended this business. Thank you !!! This is the sweetest place with indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee was delicious and the food was great! Then to top it off the staff are beyond friendly and so sweet! If you are in this area this is a noteworthy business that is deserving of your patronage! Loved it !
