This bakery is really good. this is the second time that we came back to this bakery because the cheesecake is good. The cannolis are good. All the desserts are tasty. The first time we went in we just stopped by picked up some desserts and left. However, this time we stopped by, got a table, had some drinks and ordered our desserts. It was a really good experience. The tiramisu martini is delicious. all in all a really good time. we will be coming back here next time we are in New York City.

Amazing beautiful cafe I took my girl to. Ordered the special French toast meal and she got the acai bowl shown. We sat outside and the lady brought it to us. Even gave me the syrup and hot sauce. It tasted delicious and looked gourmet. Thank you very much to the workers here for producing such fantastic food. Coffee was fresh and great as well.

I’ve been coming here for many years and have always considered it a New York institution. Last night, my family and I stopped in for dessert after dinner, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.

We ordered rainbow cookies, which arrived with no jelly at all—yet the jelly is the defining element of a rainbow cookie. We also ordered a Napoleon, which tasted stale and not fresh. My wife had a cannoli, and it was bland and far below the quality we’ve come to expect.

I’m not sure if the ingredients or preparation have changed, but it’s extremely disappointing to see such a longtime, iconic establishment seemingly prioritize cost over quality.

You have to try the breakfast panini here—it’s one of the best, with unbelievably soft bread. The zucchini fritters are perfectly crispy, too. It’s also a fantastic place for classic desserts like cakes, cannoli, and tarts.

While walking around Little Italy, I stopped by a pastry shop I chose based on Google reviews. I ordered a coffee and three different desserts. Two of the desserts were excellent, but one was not fresh, so I sent it back. Unfortunately, they didn’t even apologize. Their customer relations was very weak.

One of my favorite Italian pastry and bakery shops in New York City! Definitely the best one in Little Italy/Chinatown area!!! Most of other bakery shops usually get their pastries and bakeries from here, anyway. This is the quintessential classic Italian pastry shop everyone should visit in Little Italy. Pastries are absolutely delicious and service is great!! It was so good that we bought extras to take home, too. Highly recommended

A wonderful bakery with authentic Italian flavors prepared with great quality. The cannoli and lobster tail were absolutely delicious — definitely worth trying! Many thanks to Arlen, who assisted us with our orders and provided excellent service. Truly an outstanding employee.

We come here multiple times every time we come to the city. Annamaria makes you feel like family. Treating my daughter like her own grandchild. Letting her taste whatever she wanted. Sat and talked to us for several minutes made recommendations. Absolutely loved speaking with her. Eric was our server both times we went and he was awesome!! The desserts speak for themselves this place hasn’t been open for over 130 years for no reason. It’s a must in little Italy

Ferrara Bakery & Café in Little Italy is a charming stop when you want classic Italian pastries done right. The cannoli are crisp and fresh, the espresso has real depth, and the whole place carries that warm, old-New-York feel. Fun fact: Ferrara has been family-run since 1892, making it one of the city’s oldest Italian bakeries.

3.7 stars. Pricey. Small gelato was around $8. Quick family ice cream run with tip ran us $36. Flavor was average. Service was good. Interior was colorful with various sweets and treats enticing you to blow your diet. Worth checking out as this is an institution. Just bring your wallet though!
