Finally, I have found a good Chinese takeaway in Winchester. The beef with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, and the special fried rice, were particularly good. I will definitely be back.

This used to be a good Chinese Take Away, but the prices have risen disproportionally. £8 or more for a standard sized small box of a main without rice or any other condiments is too steep and a meal for two will set you back at least £30 or£40. You won’t get any free items (not even fortune cookies or prawn crackers) unless you spend more than £25.
I also received erroneous orders the last couple of times due to miscommunications with the receptionist.
The atmosphere of the take-away could not be less inviting and urgently needs a refurb.

King Prawn Noodles are fabulous, sweet and sour sauce is imaculate. Only problem is there is no proper seating. Wait time is good (about 10 minutes) and food is great.
