I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s our favorite spot for Mexican food. My boyfriend and I love coming here to watch Dodgers playoff games during the week when it’s not too crowded. It’s also a great place for families — the last time we were here, a big group arrived in a travel bus, and they all seemed to have a great time!
My favorite waiter is Jose — he’s wonderful! The food is amazing, and they have everything. A big plus is that they serve breakfast all day. I came on a weekend with my friend and her six-year-old son not too long ago, and his junior breakfast was huge — nothing “junior” about it! Sometimes my boyfriend even orders breakfast for dinner.
I love their menudo without hominy and their chile relleno — both are delicious! Just a heads-up, it can get pretty busy on weekends, but it’s always worth it.

This place is dirty and nasty. When we sat down and saw the extremely dirty carpet… we questioned the LA rating “A”… we were not wrong. The food was nasty. The pozole had a foul odor and was watered down. The chicken was old. The waitress brought tortillas that smelled like they had been recooked & they put oil. The waitress brought the tortillas with another plate right on top with butter (why butter? Who knows we had nothing to eat it with…) but also why would you put a plate that has been on other surfaces on top of the food. The chilaquiles just ok, but the potato was old. We ended up not eating the food and leaving… to avoid getting sick.

It was my first time here. Staff was a bit slow to acknowledge our presence. Once we were seated, the server was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered the menudo and added pigs feet on the side, it was delicious!!! Too bad I live so far, I’d come back!!!!

First and foremost, I would like to thank Marta(our sever) which treated my wife and I phenominally. This is definitely a restaurant that has been in business ever since I remember and I am sure there is a reason why.
Surprisinly, this place serves menudo 7 days a week which makes it a plus. Meat loaf was great along with vegetables and gravy had a different kind of good taste. Music needs an upgrade but then again, this is a quiet kind of place if you just want to chill.
Over all restaurant presentation was an 8.5 due to some details that the restroom needed. Taste in my opinion is a 9 and customer service is a solid 10. I highly recommend this place. I have been doing reviews for quiet some time and I rank in the top 1% in the long beach area.

I have truly have not had a burger as good as this one it been a long time coming. Everything down to the tomatoes was fresh and perfectttttttt. Fries done to perfection I couldn’t believe I was having sure a great experience with a burger lol but yes 10/10

The pozole and/or menudo are just 2 reasons to go here for breakfast. Great service and reasonable prices are two more. Traditional breakfasts are generous portions and the home fries are to die for.
