My first time here today and I have to say, it was such a great dinner and atmosphere! Jamie was so polite, and also very helpful and knowledgeable about menu items and helped make the experience special. She’s awesome! I ended up getting the pasta pescatore and am so glad I did! As a seafood lover, it can sometimes be hit and miss, but it was delicious and tasted fresh. The soup was great, and the salad was nice and cold, crisp, and delicious. 10/10

Great first time experience! Solo traveling nurse, walked over from hotel next door. Seated quickly, food was great. Lasagna was very good and had a lot of layers. The meat sauce was flavorful and plentiful. Lots of couples on date night here, but friendly vibe for a Solo. Will return soon to try other dishes ! Can’t wait!

I’ve lived in Glendalr for a long time but I had never been to this Italian restaurant.

The service was great. We showed up, unknowing the number of persons in the group. We had 2 additions. The staff never complained. The server was attentive and helpful.

The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the chicken milanese. It was a nice size portion, and the chicken was juicy. The chicken milanese dinner came with a cup of soup and salad. My friends had a pizza that was a good portion. They enjoyed the taste. The appetizer of sliced fresh tomatoes and basil with mozzarella was fresh and a good portion size. We had a few other dishes, and no one complained.

The atmosphere looks like it’s from the 1970s. The place is small. The patrons were lively. The parking is plentiful at night because we’re allowed to park in the lot next door.

The prices were as expected.

Overall, we will be back again to try some of the other dishes and enjoy the food customer service.

Scarantino’s Italian Inn is a hidden gem that transports you straight to Italy with its authentic and homemade Italian cuisine. From the moment you step through the doors, you’re greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Italian trattoria. The décor exudes charm, with rustic wooden tables and twinkling lights, making it an ideal spot for both family dinners and romantic evenings.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the food. Each dish at Scarantino’s is crafted with love and attention to detail, using only the freshest ingredients. The pasta is made from scratch daily, resulting in a delightful al dente texture that pairs beautifully with their rich and flavorful sauces. The homemade marinara is a must-try; it’s bursting with the taste of vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh herbs, making it the perfect complement to their delectable meatballs.

Additionally, the menu offers a variety of options, from classic favorites like lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo to unique dishes that showcase the chef’s creativity. Don’t overlook their wood-fired pizzas, which feature a thin, crispy crust topped with gourmet ingredients.

The service is attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. After your meal, be sure to indulge in one of their homemade desserts— the tiramisu is heavenly!

In summary, Scarantino’s Italian Inn is not just about food; it’s about savoring each moment and creating lasting memories. A visit here promises an authentic Italian dining experience that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit.

Authentic Italian restaurant, down to the checkered tablecloths. A nice step up from Olive Garden, Buca di Beppo, or Old Spaghetti Factory. Highly recommend the Chicken Valdostano. It’s like if cordon bleu was light years better. The minestrone that came with it was nice

First time eating here and it was a nice experience. The food was delicious and hot. Hosts, waitresses, servers, and staff were all friendly. I had chicken Parmigiano. My girlfriend had fettuccine aflredo. I eat out a lot, and most restaurant staff ignore guests, not here they were very attentive. It was packed . We waited over 30 mins for a table but was well worth it. Next time, we will make reservations. Also food was very affordable. Small parking lot in the back, but there is street parking. Also, all diners come with a free small soup and salad. Tiramisu was delicious.

So happy we came here for family dinner. The food was delicious. Enjoy my chicken picatta. The lemon sauce was perfection. My husband had the meatball pasta. He surely enjoyed it. My daughter had a simple fettuccine alfredo, she loved it. The bread served to use was also soft and easy to bite. Homie atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Don’t forget to order an ice cream creamy goodness.

This has been my go-to for yummy, homemade Italian food for decades. Such cute, cozy vibes inside. They also have a wonderful to-go option, which is what I did tonight for New Year’s Eve. All the entrees come with soup and salad, so it’s also pretty affordable.

The best restaurant in LA!!

I really loved their kindness and the food.
Pizza was awesome and spaghetti was super delicious.
Yesterday was holiday so I could not enjoy here, but it was worth to wait to come here!!

The waitress said the bakery was closed today so the bread is not that great as usual. I found the reason to come back to LA from Korea!!

The people who work here were super super kind !! Thank you we enjoyed a lot.
