Krystal was our server and she was amazing!
We showed up around 8pm (they close at 9), but she never made us feel rushed at all. I used to be a server for over 10 years, so l know how that last hour can feel – I really appreciated her patience and how friendly she was.
I was going to skip dessert, but when she insisted, we gave in – and I’m so glad we did. The Sticky English Toffee Pudding was out of this world. I’d honestly go back just for that (and the Mushroom Fricassee e).
The apps and one side were kind of meh. The Clothesline Bacon was fun, but the pickles were actually my favorite part. The Crab Ceviche didn’t have much crab, and the Brussels Sprouts were mostly loose leaves to make the plate look full.
Mike got the Etouffee, which was a little spicy for him but still good – he finished it! I liked his dish more than my Paella, which had rice that felt slightly undercooked but was still tasty overall.
One thing I wish they had is a spirit-free or mocktail menu. We don’t drink but love a good zero-proof option, so hopefully they’ll add that in the future.

We enjoyed Regions Kitchen and Bar on Saturday night with four other friends. We had 6:30 reservations but had to wait a half hour to be seated. The restaurant compensated for the delay by buying us all a free drink in the bar. That was a very generous response! The atmosphere is fun and warm and we enjoyed the Stags Leap Cabernet and a couple of cocktails. I split a coleslaw salad with pork belly and that was a nice combination. I ordered the filet mignon meatloaf with carrots, green beans, mushrooms and mashed potatoes and the meatloaf didn’t taste like filet mignon. It just tasted like an average meatloaf. That said, everyone else in our party loved their meals (short ribs, pork chops, salmon). So the kitchen got almost everything right. We enjoyed cinnamon donuts and sorbet for dessert. It was a lovely evening and we’ll all come back here again.

We went here for the first time for my mother’s birthday and really enjoyed ourselves! Kevin was amazing and took great care of us…among many other tables, but still made us feel special. We started with complimentary bread, which was very soft, warm and tasty. Next, we had two appetizers: bang bang cauliflower and exotic mushrooms, which were very unique dishes, but also very delicious. The bang bang sauce was simply the best! Then we had our entrees and they had sooooo much flavor and great presentation. We were so full afterwards, but had to have dessert for the birthday girl. We tried the chocolate mousse which had decadent flavor that wasn’t too heavy. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and will go back. We would definitely want Kevin again as he made the night feel special!

Upscale. Lucky to have such a great spot in the suburbs for fine dining. The menu is inventive and very tasty. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. One small thing but not sure why they don’t serve bread. Not to worry, the food is great and they have an excellent wine and cocktail selection. Enjoy.

Never disappointed! We’ve visited Region many times over several years and we’re consistently blown away by the food, service and the atmosphere. Our server, Joselyn was friendly, attentive and well-informed on the menu. If you want to try what we enjoyed, start with small plates Bellweather Ricotta, Chateaubriand crostini, and follow with Chicken Parmesan and Short Ribs – all amazingly delicious ! Save room for the Sticky English Toffee pudding! Out of this world. OMG- I’m still stuffed but so delighted with the entire experience.

I had a fantastic meal there for the first time my parents are frequent flyers. I had the duck confit which was fantastic. The meatloaf was tender, the bacon was fantastic and the bread is great. We had the waiter Kevin he was amazing super on top of his stuff and knew everything about the menu. Highly recommend

Love this place! Staff super friendly and attentive and rock solid cuisine. San Fran Cioppino always yummy. Their burgers are amazing too. I tried their Good Vibrations cocktail and would literally comeback just for that! Been here many times and look forward to another meal there!

Region has one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Visited to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday last month, and just had it again last night because we were both craving the burger. We had a very silent dinner as we were both eating as fast as we could. I swear they must cook the burgers with love. Would highly highly recommend.

I want to start off by saying this would have been a 5-star review; however, our visit started with terrible hospitality. Bar/hightops are supposedly open seating. We showed up early to our reservation to try and grab one. I had just sat down at a cleared table when one hostess told us they were giving it to someone. We then proceeded to have another hostess seat a couple who arrived after us and heard her say something along the lines of “I’ll always have a table for you”. Regulars here seem to get extra treatment, which is unfortunate for any new customers coming to dine.
Now to the meal….our actual waitress was knowledgeable and personable. She gave fantastic food recommendations. Service was quick. Flavor of the food was absolutely top notch. Compliments to the chef.
Food reviews:
Tuna tartare-chili sauce gave a lovely heat to the bite. Crispy rice added fantastic texture. Definitely would recommend
Short rib-so tender and flavorful. No knife needed.
Sea bass-glaze gave a nice umami flavor combined with the charred tops of the broccolini and rice.
Sticky toffee pudding-One of the best I’ve had. Cake was served warm and was extremely fluffy on the inside. Ice cream balanced out the bite with just the right amount of richness

My walleye fish filet wasn’t fresh, tasted frozen then covered in sauces. Dinning area was too dark. Staff were wonderful, friendly and professional.
