Such a disheartening change after being a lifelong shogun customer. So very disappointing. I understand there was a change (same owners) and I was fully open minded. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe & the upgrades. However, the sushi rolls were very mediocre, the hibachi dinner was laughable in both size and quality (also didn’t come with soup and salad but was more expensive). I ordered a Godzilla roll which I order everywhere & it was a completely different roll. Prices are raised, food was mediocre all across the board. The only bright spot was our server, Peter. Spent $100 and was terribly dissatisfied. As a lifelong Bensalem resident, i supported this business for many many years, it was extremely upsetting. I will never return again, nor recommend to anyone. Ninja sushi on bustleton will be my go-to from here on out. Sorry for the drawn out, Debbie downer, hateful review. I’m just very upset that one of my favorite spots for MANY years has “upgraded” the atmosphere but ruined the quality!

Got here by 9pm, just got our food by 10:12pm and didn’t even get everything and EVERYTHING that should be hot is cold. There is stuff floating in the water cups so please be careful. Atleast Peter, our server, is super nice which made the experience a little better. I feel so bad that he has to apologize to everyone for something that’s out of his control. But an ayce place that makes you wait 1 hour for mediocre food on a 2 hour limit? You’ll never find me here again.

This was my first visit since the changeover from Shogun. I personally prefer this format for a sit down meal as I’ve only ever gone for sushi and not for hibachi.
If you eat a decent amount of sushi the price more or less balances out. I can see why some folks aren’t crazy about the new menu if they prefer smaller orders, but they still do take out for that purpose.
Also, our server (I forget his name) was very kind and attentive.
