I love Popeyes however tonight I ordered 2 chicken sandwich combos and requested 2 honey mustard sauces. I was told I could have 1 but the other would cost. When I explained that I had purchased 2 combos I was told that the sauce was for nuggets only. There was only 1 free sauce allowed per order unless one of the orders was nuggets? What kinda backwoods rules are these? I paid $20 for this meal and the rejection of a $0.35 sauce will really make me reconsider my chicken sandwich purchase next time! It’s not like this is the only place that serves them! CRAZY!

We’ve gotten take out from here typically…and will probably do so again, but we won’t be coming in.
7 staff working and it took a few min before anyone greeted us. The gentleman working the counter didn’t seem to know how to work the POS system and ordering was a struggle.
The restaurant wasn’t really clean, both bathrooms had no paper and the drinks were flat…so overall not impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Unfortunately this seems to be typical of our restaurants in Rocky Mount.
Love the chicken sandwich but not worth going into the store- will stick to take out.

I like the blackened chicken sandwich. The ghost pepper wings are good, might need a bit more heat. The staff works hard and you can tell it, but the food is good.
Came back. I was in and out. New sandwich is great. Mango lemonade is nice, just an amazing experience.

Very good leadership in there. The girl at the window was polite and the guy taking the drive thru orders had a lot of patience as I don’t eat Popeyes often. However, my chicken was undercooked. I couldn’t enjoy it ☹️

The food is good, but the customer service is rude and nasty and young. I went in one time and a manager got my complete order wrong and then looked at me and walked away. A nice young lady ended up coming. She was the manager, she seemed to have more common sense. She ended up fixing it, but got one thing wrong. So I wasn’t so mad, then when I popped back up to the store to let them know that my side was wrong. They tried to make me pay for my side. Normally when I come, I always go through the window. So I can avoid having to interact with them, but I do eat here on a daily and the chicken is good. Some people need to learn how to cook it. A little longer, but overall, they’re pretty good. Just work on the attitudes.

The food was the most mid food I have ever had in my life. The chicken had no seasoning period. It tasted like cardboard. Fries were ok. And the biscuit was mid and the worst I had around here which yall biscuits rivals KFC. (If you want a great biscuit go to Hardee’s on 301 or Sunset or Bojangles to get a way better biscuit,) The only good thing was they had Hawaiian Punch, which was surprising to me.
Don’t even come here to eat. Go to Bojangles to get better chicken and fries and even the chicken sandwich too.

We ordered food through the app but didn’t get everything, so we asked for the rest. We waited over 40 minutes in the drive-thru. We saw an employee walking by, giving food to the car in front of us, and they had no idea we were missing items. They went inside, then came back out saying the manager wanted to check our bag, which we let them do. Then they came back out 15 minutes later with our food. We also sent a complaint through the app.

Went through the drive thru 11/1/2025 @7:45 pm chicken was not fresh it was cold and it wasn’t done all the way through. Been like this the last few times I’ve been there. We pay money to have our food fresh and hot and cooked all the way through!! I will not waste my hard earned money on food not fit to eat

What’s that on my fries!?
Cajun IS a seasoning. Just because the staff doesn’t shake the seasoning on the fries doesn’t mean they aren’t seasoned. This is a discussion I had to have with, not 1 but, 2 employees, as they tried to convince me that my fries were NOT seasoned… “They came like that.” Wow… And too boot, the little nasty small serving, which fit in the palm of my hand, cost $3.50! But, I was too dumbfounded by the conversation that I couldn’t even stomach asking for my money back. I’m not so familiar with Popeyes’ menu and I will not be getting familiar. They were polite. But still clueless. Education is a mother! I went there for the apple pies and that’s what I’m going to stick to.
