A remarkably clean establishment with an abundance of seating for it’s size. The food is reasonably priced, my order arrived in mere minutes, and was better than I anticipated.
As an OTR trucker I am sometimes forced to park in places where I am not entirely certain if I am allowed. Bruce, the proprietor, assured me that I was more than welcome to park for the night. After speaking with him at some length, truly a nice guy, he told me that he owns a trucking company so he understood my predicament. I had 15 mins left to legally drive…so what a relief!
So if you are passing through Lander I would highly recommend stopping by the Mountain Bar & Grill.

All in all, it was ok. I ordered the steak medium rare with sweet potato fries. It was definitely different that than the menu depicted but prepared like I asked. The vegetables that came with it were not great, frozen and horribly seasoned. The mountain gourmet stuffed burger, ordered stuffed with pepper jack, bacon, and onion; received with swiss on the burger (instead of stuffed with) and no lettuce, tomato or onion side. The french fries weren’t the greatest. I understand you didn’t advertise “fresh cut” or “house made”, & I think for as new as you are and for what we ordered it was ok. I may come back in a month or so and see how you’ve progressed. I do look forward to what’s to come.

Great atmosphere and friendly service
