Love love love silver diner. They have a wide range of variety to choose from both foods and drinks. Whether you are looking for breakfast to lunch, something more unusual like Buratta cheese with toast to good old fashion burgers. The food is extremely fresh and always locally sourced. The service fast and help fill. The place is clean and pretty on the inside. I will be a returning customer for sure

This is by far the best location for food and service! Everyone from the hostess to manager were warm and welcoming. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved their food – but I think I got the wrong thing. My side of bacon was crisp and tasted delicious, However. had my server brought syrup when my pancakes were hot ( and everyone else wasn’t finished) I may have enjoyed them… maybe. Oozing with ricotta out of both layers with an extra 1/2 cup on top and barely any lemon tasted like ricotta cakes. Coffee was fresh and super hot – perfect! On a side note, my daughter has a gluten and dairy allergy and they were very accommodating. We will be back and I hope to find something I love as well.

I recently ordered takeout from this Silver Diner, and I have to say, it was quite disappointing. I ordered an omelette with home fries, expecting the usual quality and flavorful experience I’ve come to enjoy at other Silver Diners. Unfortunately, this time the meal fell short in several ways.
Firstly, the cheese in the omelette was just square sandwich cheese that didn’t melt properly, even after reheating, which made the dish look and taste off. It felt like a cheap substitute rather than the fresh, melted cheese I’m used to. Additionally, instead of diced onions, they topped the home fries with a pile of sautéed onions, which overwhelmed the omelette and didn’t blend well with the other flavors. The onions were also slightly overcooked and greasy, which affected the overall taste and texture.
The home fries, while decent in themselves, were overshadowed by the heavy onion topping. Considering I paid over $16 for this meal, I expected better quality, proper presentation, and attention to detail. It’s disappointing because I’ve had consistently good experiences at other Silver Diners.
After this experience, I don’t see myself returning or recommending this particular location. A shame honestly.

We had the best lunch yesterday at Silver Diner! My wife, son, and I went, and everything was fantastic. The food came out hot and delicious, our waitress was great, and the service was super fast. My soda was perfectly bubbly—everything was on point. We can’t wait to go back again soon!

Had such a wonderful time with my husband for a Valentine’s Day breakfast! We both got omelettes (Oaxaca & California) and it was delicious and very healthy. Great food and great service. We will absolutely be back!

Such an unexpected gem! Thought I was coming to a regular diner but was met with one of most delicious dining experiences I’ve had in VA. The crab cake sandwich, the burrata, the tea… everything! Absolutely fire! It’s right off the highway so anytime you’re traveling on 95, just slide through.

Came in for late breakfast. Karen was a very efficient server, able to answer menu questions and provide quick, frequent table service. We ordered off the breakfast Blue Plate Special. Great value for the price. Coffee and Juice included is a plus.

They call it the Bay Benedict and it’s delicious.

It’s described as a “Giant super lump crab cake, English muffin, baby spinach, diced tomatoes, roasted corn, basil, cage-free Amish eggs over-easy, hollandaise, and Old Bay.”

Easily one of the most flavorful breakfasts I’ve had in quite a while. Robert Giaimo, his partner Chef Ype Von Hengst, and their team at Silver Diner certainly know how to take breakfast from ordinary to extraordinary.

Rolling into Silver Diner late at night, hungry and tired, I wasn’t expecting anything more than your “classic diner experience.” The outside gives you that standard chrome-and-nostalgia look — but don’t let that fool you. Once you sit down and crack open the menu, you realize pretty quickly that somebody in the back cares a whole lot about ingredients, flavor, and presentation.

She ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict, and honestly, it was one of those dishes where you take one bite and realize, “Yep… this is the good stuff.” The hollandaise had that perfect brightness — not heavy, not gloopy, but smooth and silky with real flavor. You could instantly tell this wasn’t some commercial mix that got reheated in a squeeze bottle. The ingredients tasted genuinely farm-sourced, which is something you rarely get at 8pm in a diner. The eggs, the tomatoes, the smoked ham — all of it came together beautifully, and the home fries with caramelized onions sealed the deal. She loved it.

I went for the new Benedict Smash Burger, and if you like your comfort food with a little swagger, get this. Creekstone beef, a fried egg, smoky bacon, chili-crisp hollandaise — it’s one of those burgers that somehow hits every corner of your taste buds at once. Savory, crispy, creamy, a little heat from that chili crisp… and the brioche bun actually held its shape instead of collapsing like most “fancy” diner buns. Fries were perfectly crispy too.

Service was excellent. Our waiter, Jason, was on point — attentive without hovering, genuinely helpful, and offered solid menu insight. You can tell he likes the food and wants guests to enjoy it.

We’re only in Fredericksburg for a short stint, but this place made the list of “definitely coming back before we leave.”

A late-night meal that hit every mark. Highly recommend.

Riley did a fantastic job serving our family. There was no wait on a Saturday evening and service was quick. Philly cheesesteak was well flavored. The caramelized onions were a bit too sweet for my taste. The kids meals were a great value too. Shakes are spot on in taste, a bit thin but they give a generous amount.
