PERFECT ending to our vacation! We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to walk over to have a bite to eat. From the hostess, to the water/bread boy and to our amazing waitress Joanna, it was a great experience! The food was so delicious and we absolutely loved it! We wished we lived closer!

We stopped in last night and to our surprise it was no longer Anitico Fornaio, what a bummer. I was hungry so figured we’d give this a try. $90 for subpar food is disappointing, I did like the updated atmosphere w/ linens and twinkling lights. Our server was busy w/ a couple other tables so it took a while in between visits, the manager was checking in, he could’ve offered to help him instead of mindlessly walking around, moving chairs at tables. I digress, I ordered a house wine $10, it was drinkable and he had a house “Italian” beer $7.50. Server brought over thin, warm ish day old grocery store bread served w/ their chunky, zesty marinara, I personally raved about the sauce as it reminded me of a restaurant growing up. Burrata appetizer was fresh, light and tasty. Cacio e Pepe was a letdown as it was super rich and heavy, grainy w/o enough pasta water to make a light, smooth sauce and less pecorino romano. My husband had a tre carne pizza which came out soggy and slightly greasy.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at La Dolce Vita Trattoria, and it exceeded our expectations from start to finish.
Our server, Joanna, was outstanding—attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and spot-on with her recommendations. She truly elevated the entire experience with her warm and professional service.
We started with the Caesar Salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. For our entrée, we ordered the Pasta Di Mare, and it was absolutely loaded with seafood—generous portions of perfectly cooked shrimp, mussels, and more. The pasta itself was cooked flawlessly al dente, exactly as it should be in a proper Italian trattoria.
Though the restaurant is intimate in size, the wine list is impressive, offering some really excellent selections that pair beautifully with the menu.
And for dessert—wow. The cannolis were simply divine. Crisp shells, creamy filling, and the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal.
We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service.

The service was excellent!! The food was average. Portions were smaller than expected for the price. We ordered a side of Roasted Asparagus to go for $9.00.. When we opened it at home, we were shocked to see only 6 Asparagus!! Overall an average dining experience, out the door for two with tip $150.. Won’t be going back..

I was here with a large group from work. They were very accommodating and service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive the whole time. Everyone in our group got something different and everyone loved their food. I had the Gnocchi La Dolce Vita. It was incredible. Some of the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Added a couple of meatballs which were excellent as well. There’s loads of great options though. Good luck choosing!

Very attentive staff with vibrant atmosphere and music. Wish the food would live up to the ambiance. Best bite was the Caesar Salad – not a traditional dressing but bright citrus taste that we really enjoyed. The pasta dishes were very one note. We had the Pasta Carbonara which was overpowered by a bitter burnt taste and Tortellini Boscaiola which has a cream sauce that was too rich and lacked depth of flavor – sauce had the consistency of wet cement. Couldn’t get through either dish because the bad in both far outweighed the good. Poor wine and beer selection.

Very nice place, comfortable. Food was very good. Came out hot and just the way we wanted. Veal Parm pounded nice and this; pasta cooked perfectly. My husband had Veal Marsala which was just as good. Our waiter Billy was pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely go back!

Dinner was wonderful, Milanese veal and montepulciano wine was delicious and authentic. My husband chose the Mediterranean cod and loved his dish. Billy took great care of our table and we enjoyed the patio, they’ve done a great job making the space feel private with nice lighting.
