Best Authentic Puerto Rican food you can find anywhere in the Midwest! It was a bit of a wait but the food is FRESH and worth it. The food is hard work (we know from personal experience). The owner made 4 separate trips to drop the food off to our car in the rain AND talked to us about the love and passion he has for the restaurant and the cuisine. 10 out of 10 service and food. We are full!

I drove 30 minutes in winter to finally get to the location and try the food and when I tell you, it did not disappoint, I promise you it did not disappoint. I absolutely will be back. It feels so nice to have a variety of Hispanic food in the community and to finally see an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant here! Feel like I heard the Coquis talking to me in every bite haha. Good nothing impressive all ad expected shady on the receipts part that its no itemized my plate was 21 + 8 bucks is not 51 the flan was on you bc u said it was my bday treat. And two empandas. Is not 47bucks i paid w a debit card amid they charged me a whole fees even tho u cant charge people for paying w a debit only credit card but i still paid 51 yall shady wont be returning.

So out of the local spots trying to make Puerto Rican food none of them so far none can top this place. The service was excellent friendly and it’s like you’re talking to a friend. From the papa rellena to the pernil everything we had was hot and had excellent flavor you can tell it was cooked with love. Definitely will be back again!

Tried this new Puerto Rican spot and it did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and flavorful – you can really taste the quality in every bite, especially the fritters. The customer service was excellent, everyone was friendly and welcoming. It did take a little time for the food to come out, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Plus, the setting by the lake makes it such a nice and relaxing experience. Highly recommend!
