Bellevue is lucky to have a Thai restaurant like Thai Tamarind. They may be at a new location on Lincoln Ave, but they’re still serving up deep, layered flavors through classic Thai dishes that will hook you from the first bite.

This is not my first rodeo dining at Thai Tamarind, and I will admit that I do prefer the character of the original location, but the food retains the same soulfulness. I tend to order two dishes on repeat. The panang curry with either tofu or veggies is heart warming and cuts deep. The spiciness of a red curry that’s balanced out with a touch of sweetness. I also order the Hot Basil, probably most of all. Spicy, rich, and deep umami that good enough to turn a guest into a lifelong patron. Such an addictive dish.

The service has always been very good at Thai Tamarind. Service is quick and easy. The restaurant is clean and well tended.

If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend stopping in to grab some Thai. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

First time to Thai Tamarind in Bellevue and I was in love with the unique charm and atmosphere! It is a cozy environment with very friendly and welcoming staff. The Thai curry dumplings were a great flavorful start to our meal. The service was fast and we received our food in a timely fashion. I had the Thai noodle soup and I had 2-3 meals from one bowl! Even leftovers were just as great as when I first got it! The curry was flavorful and it was a sweet touch to have rice presented in a heart shape! I cannot wait to dine in and their new location soon!

Service was great and is a beautiful dining room. I loved the Thai chicken wings. My mom said the crab Rangoons were the best she’s ever had (and she gets them everywhere!) I liked the spicy basil rice, I’ve had better elsewhere, but it was still very solid! The Thai iced coffee was way too sweet for my liking so I didn’t finish it.

The newly relocated Thai Tamarind – 2 doors from the hardware store now – is better than ever. Quality is fantastic and the new location is roomy, well laid out, clean and attractive. Great HVAC and everything. I always loved the character of the original spot, but the new digs are better yet. If you loved it before, as I did, the food hasn’t changed at all – it’s still wonderful – just the atmosphere is a bit more spacious, comfortable, and attractive. A move well executed!

**Thai Tamarind (Bellevue)**

Thai Tamarind in Bellevue offers a cozy atmosphere with excellent food and service. I tried the trio curry with rice, which was a standout with its rich, velvety, and spicy broth, complemented by fresh veggies and a heart-shaped side of rice. The service was friendly and prompt, and the cafe-like ambiance made for a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend for Thai food lovers! Check out my blog for the full review!

What a little welcoming space with very good food. Not a lot of seats so a little intimate. Lovely table settings. Would me a cute place for a date. The tom kah soup is very good. Fresh rice. The surprising appetizer platter is worth a try. Fair portions. Three parking spaces out front then street parking.

Eating here opened up my taste buds to a whole new world of unique and wonderful tastes. I thought I knew what delicious was but going to Thai Tamarind proved I knew nothing. Not only is the food made fresh every day but the chefs take such care in the construction of the meals and the unique blend of flavors.

The restaurant is perfect for people who love spice but also for those who don’t. They offer multiple different spice levels from 0 to cry hot, each tailored to the individual.

If you’re hesitating about going here, go as soon as possible. I promise you will not regret it.

Second trip to this little spot in Bellevue, and it was wonderful. Find parking on the street or one of the three spots in front. There’s 9 small tables inside and 3 outside fir parties of 2. Unassuming on the outside but amazing once you come through the doors through the bamboo. It is decorated with flowers on every table, hand sanitizer, linen napkins, and a water glass. Bench seating along the wall with cushions for your back was a nice touch. Scan the QR code on the table, and you’re greeted with a full menu of Lunch and Dinner items of your favorite Thai Curry, Noodle, Rice dishes or try one of the Chefs creations. The Ginger Salad was as good as expected. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with chicken, and it was awesome. The noodles were soft, chicken cooked great with plenty of Basil and sauce. Next time, I’ll opt for a curry or Noodle dish. If you’re in the city or just passing by Bellevue, make sure to stop in! Recommended!
