Nice little restaurant that is primarily for take out. It gets crowded during lunch time but the flow of people in the restaurant is fast so it wasn’t a problem. The Pho soup was great and the service was fast.

stumble across Banh Mi Express in square de Meeus and decided to give it a try. Bad bad decision. The service staff were excellent, very nice and service oriented and the service was swift efficient and with a smile.
Unfortunately the food severely lets the establishment down. I had a noddle salad with roast chicken and a peanut cookie as a takeaway.
The salad when I opened it at my desk 3 minutes after purchasing it was swimming in noodle water. The noodles were overcooked and the chicken was at its most dangerous temperature of slightly lukewarm at best. There was gristle in the chicken and the salad was not at its freshest- soaked on the bottom with noodle water which had clearly not been well drained before being put in the take away box, and dotted with yellowed leaves.
The cookie was not much better. undermixed before baking it had a horrible taste with a sandy consistency.
Stay away, save your money.

I recommend starting with the shrimp summer rolls which come with a nice dipping sauce.
We had beef noddles and pork banh mi (sandwich) (15€ each)
So delicious!!
The place is warm and the waiter patiently explained us the different options.
Moreover, the service is very fast and they have take away, making it a convenient place to have a brief lunch break as well.
I will come back!

We stopped by today for banh mi, and they were amazing. We tried the pulled pork. When we asked for a bit more veg, they brought us an entire bowl and didn’t charge anything extra. It’s the little gestures like that which make you want to keep coming back.
They also offered us tap water, which is rare in Brussels and so appreciated. The service here is genuinely outstanding- truly 20/10.

Good, tasty food. Fast service. Nice choice of dish. Fair price for the quality and quantity. I only tried the chicken lemongrass so far, but will come back to try all of it. Don’t hesitate to get your own idea, it’s worth it!

Great Banh mi and Pho soup. Quick service, nice seating area, tasty food. Gets quite busy with queue during lunch rush. Can recommend getting the combo 1 which is small soup and Banh mi of your choice.

– It’s not vietnamese food. The noodles are too thick to be called rice vermicelli. They put salad but no carrot or cucumber into the bo bun.
– Seating is really limited and people tend to stay way after they finished eating, hogging seats from next customers waiting standing with their food, while the staff is too busy behind the counter.
