I highly recommend Mondano! We were for their monthly plant-based dinner in October and had an incredible experience. The service was fine dining level, top notch. Martinis were shaken cold and perfect. Our 5-course meal was deeply flavorful through and through and you could really tell the food was homemade and with love. I was impressed with the authentic taste and execution of 5 different dishes from 5 different cuisines. Bravo! We can’t wait to come back for November’s tasting. This is what NEPA needs.

So far, I am very impressed with the hospitality, the attentive staff, the quality of food, the food presentation, the seating coziness and comfort, and the ambiance. Without missing a beat the second visit, the waiter remembered my husband’s allergies and our food preferences. The chef and staff are very transparent about what ingredients are in the food and are amazing at modifying it if possible. This is a fine dining experience; smaller portions, fresh ingredients, $$-$$$ prices but I’d consider fair in terms of the food styles and ingredients. My husband and I are absolutely in love with the soft, fresh bread, the appetizer shareable plates, and the menu item rotations which gives us the option of a different experience every time. I highly recommend this restaurant. There is a back entrance parking area and a front street entrance for those who are new to this location.

Just came about this place looking for new places that can cater to food allergens! What a gem! Laid back, warm atmosphere with a gentleman playing the piano nearby while we were there. Service was great, and our service was so sweet and accommodating! Food was incredible(had the homemade fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp), and they offer marked options for those with gluten allergies, as well as vegan needs. Highly recommend

We stopped here for dinner one night and decided to start with some appetizers. Everything from the meat and spinach pies to the gnocchi, to the bean salad was excellent. The complimentary arancini they brought to the table were delicious!
For dinner we actually had a hard time deciding because everything sounded so good. We settled on the rabbit ragu (which was very good), the Italian stuffed pork chop (excellent), the Korean pork chop (simply outstanding), and the linguini with meatballs. Everything was well seasoned, expertly prepared, and the service was top notch.
We can’t wait to go back!

First time here, we wanted to try this place for quite awhile and so happy we did! Love the international experience. The food was definately next level with elevated style and flair. Pictures do not due it justice you just have to go and experience. Love the entertainment of beautiful piano music during dinner which was a delight! Loved that our chefs / owner came out to our table which is a rarity in most restaurants today. They came out to introduce themselves and dishes and actually gave us a complimentary treat appetizer. Phenomenal experience. A must if your in the old forge area… Our travel was 45 minutes away buy well worth it! Will definatley be back!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Such a hidden gem! The food was spectacular and truly one of the best places I have ever eaten. I can’t compare it to anything else. The chef was so kind and truly so knowledgeable. Everything from start to finish was phenomenal! The dessert was my favorite part! I cannot wait to go back!!

Absolutely incredible! Super nice atmosphere, amazing food, I can’t say enough about our experience here. Our sever, Shawn was great, and after our meal the chef came out to chat with us. This place is a breath of fresh air in an area where every street has the same Italian restaurant.
