This is our favorite Stamford Mexican place! Love Taco Tuesdays, $15 all you can eat (maybe ask them not to double-wrap) and the drinks are just strong enough! There’s a nicer dining room but in a pinch the area by the entrance is okay. Staff is friendly.

You know, I drove by this place a lot and even went to the package store right next to it, but I never noticed this place. Well, today on my way to get drinks, I noticed the place and decided to try them out. Holy smokes! I got the steak nachos with everything. This thing was heavy, and I enjoyed every bite! It’s not a typical dine-in restaurant because it’s small and ideal for takeout, but the food was great, and the portions were large.

We all had fajitas and they were excellent. Everything was well seasoned. The veggies were cooked just right. The tortillas and chips are so fresh! We also had the Mexican street corn – a real treat!

Stopped in for a late breakfast of Huevos Rancheros today. It is by far some of the best I’ve eaten. Coffee was good too. Do your stomach a favor and order this the next time you are in the neighborhood. Parking around the restaurant is difficult at best even with a lot next the restaurant but it’s worth it. On past visits I’ve enjoyed their Carne Asada, Chicken Enchiladas and Camarones A La Diabla (shrimp in a lime garlic sauce if I remember it right).

I used to go to this place and the sister store on the West side of Stamford all the time when I lived there. They’re both fantastic, the food quality is excellent, the service is expedient, attentive and friendly, the prices are more than reasonable, And the portions very generous. For its price and what it is (not fancy, but good food), this is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.

Honestly I never really write reviews but I’m kind of upset.
I ordered chicharron de pollo and it usually comes with tostones and a salad as it says on the menu, I switched the tostones for fries instead. My plate was missing the salad and the dressing for the chicken. Not only that, but I’m upset that I was charged $19 for this, literally a child size tray!
I called the restaurant and the girl on the phone claimed I had to *ask for the salad* when the menu says it brings it.

The food looks delicious, and the chips and spicy salsa and guac were very yummy. However, the chicken in the quesadilla and enchiladas were extremely disappointing. Bland with very little taste and what you did taste wasnt worth it. The chorizo was also very light on flavor. The rice and beans were good though.
Overall the rule of thumb seems to be stick with the vegetarian options, sadly.

I would recommend this restaurant, 10/10. I spent my birthday here recently, and everything felt so sweet. The staff was friendly and kind and sweet, and the food is delicious. My friends and I had a great time.
