First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. First Watch in Omaha delivered exactly what a serious breakfast spot should. I ordered the Traditional Classic — eggs properly cooked, toast crisp, and a well-balanced plate that respected the basics. The fruit bowl was fresh and vibrant, not an afterthought. My partner chose the Tri-Athlete with the Morning Meditation juice — bright, refreshing, and thoughtfully composed.
Service was impressively fast despite a packed Saturday crowd. The dining room buzzed with energy, yet the operation felt controlled and efficient. Seating at the bar turned out to be the smartest move of the morning.
The ambience strikes that sweet spot between polished and comfortable — lively but not chaotic. Our young server, a student from China, was warm, attentive, and genuinely engaging. A brief cultural exchange over coffee added a human touch that elevated the experience.
The only minor critique: coffee temperature could have been slightly hotter. Otherwise, a well-executed breakfast service that understands both quality and flow.

Nice quiet place to enjoy traditional and non-traditional breakfast. My waitress Elizabeth was both friendly and knowledgeable about the the food. I had “The Works” omelet and it was delicious. I would definitely eat here again when I’m in the area.

Need I write a review, because the reputation of First Watch proceeds itself. This was my first time at any First Watch establishment, and I was impressed. The aesthetic and vibe of the establishment was wonderful. Had a bit of a wait 5~ minutes given the morning Saturday rush. Given the busy time, I thought service and food delivery were relatively prompt. The food is very solid brunch type food. The portions are very generous. There were a lot of interesting menu options, that I’d be interested in coming again and to try some different menu items out. Would recommend!

Our first time trying First Watch. The million dollar bacon was amazing. The Works omelette was filled with great meat flavors and seasoned potatoes with onions were just right. The server offered drinks which I ordered unsweetened blackberry tea. It pulled the perfect taste together. 5 Stars Review

We sat down, and saw their updated menu left out a favorite item of ours. When we asked the server we were informed we could still order the item, it’s just off menu. Food came out quick and delicious as always.

I really enjoy First Watch! We have dined in and done takeout & delivery. If you go there during busy times (especially weekends) it can be very crowded & loud. The food is always good. When it’s nice out, I’ve enjoyed the outdoor seating as well. Overall, we really like it here and will be back!
I typically get the Elevated Egg Sandwich. I always order with the egg over hard, and have never had issues.
This delivery had an over easy egg, as you can see in the picture – the yellow egg yoke is running out before I even cut it. This was super disappointing. There was also a huge glob of mayo in one spot instead of spread evenly on the sandwich. The bacon is always great!
I will, however, get this again and hope that next time it will not be with an over easy egg, so I can enjoy it.
The other item pictured is The Works Omelet. My husband said the omelet was good and really liked the toast! I like their potatoes – very flavorful.

I don’t understand why this place is so popular. The food is mediocre and because it was so busy, the staff was overwhelmed and the service suffered because of it. I would eat here again if someone else was adamant about going here, but I wouldn’t recommend it myself.
