We had the Chicken Fried Steak and Shrimp & Grits. The chicken fried steak was great. Shrimp and Grits had a too much sauce, ask for it on the side. This is a bar with music stating at 9:00. We were concerned the place would be smoky, but it was not for our meal. Sign on the door says no smoking before 10:00pm. They call it a steakhouse, but have no bottle wine selection, they need to add that. Overall a great 1st visit, we will be back.

Our waitress was new, so I will give Whiskey Bent the benefit of the doubt. Our order came out all wrong, and we had to flag down help a few times, but overall I was pleased. Especially with the food. It’s unique and mouth watering!! Absolutely delicious and worth the wait. We will definitely be back.
Loaded potatoes (which you pay extra for) only come out with a tablespoon of toppings. Next time I will tell them to load it times three.
Also, the Brussel sprouts had a good flavor but they were overcooked and chewy. I still think I would order them next time to see if they get it right.
And by the way, their Jalapeño Cream corn side dish is delicious! So is the corn dip appetizer!!

Went for our first time for the steak special on Wednesday night. Steak and sides were good. Loved the fried cheese breaded with pretzel crumbs appetizer. Our service was very attentive and even came to catch us before we left due to an error in the bill that she wanted to change. We will definitely be back again

Took too long to have our drinks, some of the waitresses you can hear under their breath complaining, it took one hour to get the food. I’m glad I waited because I enjoyed the food but not the service.
Ps most of the plates were chipped.

Came one night, and they said the internet was down, but you could use an ATM perplexing. Came a second time, no one to greet customers and blatantly ignored! Yeah, I probably won’t be trying a 3rd time. I’m from a small town and have done the kiss the ring Thang before. You opened a bar/steakhouse. I worked a job where one of the spliffs or thank yous for doing a good job was like a 120$ gift card to Texas Road House weekly or biweekly i cant recall to many druken karaoke nights at the fox and the hound or SP Graham/Grand/Gram Central Station

Food took over two hours after our reservation time to get. Steak was overcooked and they ran out of baked potatoes… at a steak house. No potatoes? They got half of our orders wrong or didn’t cook it to order. When the manager/owner came to our table, it was to give excuses rather than an apology. Rude at best. He offered a discount, but then didn’t even give a discount. Will not come here again.
If you want to eat by dinner time, make a reservation for 4:00pm!
Our waitress was apologetic and was actually the only bright spot of our evening.

I’ve eaten at Steak Houses all over Texas. This place ranks at the top for me. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. Drinks are great. This was a great find and we will be regulars.

SATURDAY 9/21, Got there at 7, they brought us water and rolls, not very crowded, took our order , brought us an apetizer after 15 minutes of strret corn dip and chips, this was really good. My husband ordered steak, I ordered shrimp and grits, over an hour and 15 minutes until food came. When it did, his steak was cooked right, but everything we had was too salty! We also thought it was very overpriced- $86 dollars for appetizer, 6 shrimp and grits, an 8 oz steak and baked potato, we both drank water.
Don’t like the smoking policy after 10, NO ONE should be subjected to second hand smoke! Won’t be back.

Reply to your reply below, I don’t know who you think we were , we never talked to ANYONE , we never had a Ceasars salad and our bill was $86, NO refund. I guess someone else was also dissatisfied.

Food is spectacular, the service is 5 star, and the atmosphere is perfection. We have been several times. I’ve only had the steak, but my husband has had the prime rib, the beef tips, and a different cut of steak and each time we have been beyond happy with the food. The skillet brownie sundae is to DIE FOR. There is no smoking until after 10 and the live music and dancing with dinner is so fun. Highly recommend!

You never know when they are open. To only be open on a Sunday noon to 3pm is not customer friendly. My husband and a friend went and got there a 4pm on a Saturday in June when the website said they opened but they were quickly told food doesn’t get served till 5pm(website said nothing about time of service for food). Food was good but to plan a nice family dinner on a Sunday afternoon/evening just forget it. Understand it is a new establishment but needs to be more customer friendly on hours.
Update to the above review. July 21st at 1:30pm went to what is called a steakhouse and it was all closed up. Hours do say on website Sunday 12-3. We are done. We will not waste our time anymore to give this place our business or money. DONE
