So so thankful to Buen Apetito. I’d previously worked with Buen Apetito some years ago in a professional capacity when they catered for a corporate event, so selecting them for our wedding was an easy decision.
My now-husband was immediately bought into them – he loved their generous portions, and fun, interactive catering experience. Our tasting before the wedding was a huge success, and we were kindly given extra portions to take home, which we shared with our family who were excited for the real deal on the wedding day.
Buen Apetito thought of everything. We had an at-home DIY wedding on our smallholding, but Buen Appetito made it easy and were entirely self-sufficient. Our wedding coordinator also loved them! They provided beautiful terracotta dishes which looked incredible on the tables, and catering service was slick, efficient, generous and most importantly – tasty! We created menus for each place setting, and I have very fond memories of my dad perusing the menu, deciding what to have for his second portion. Some of our guests even went up for thirds!
We opted for the buffet service option, and I’m so glad we did. Our guests could watch the paellas and dishes being cooked, they could pick-and-mix from the variety of dishes, and it provided incredible photos (our photographer was so excited to get some photos of the dishes and heat!). It really added another layer to our wedding as an experience for our guests, and our wedding was description by several as the “classiest wedding they’d ever attended” – so don’t think that the buffet service is the lesser option. We’d chose it again, given the chance!

I ordered a basic dish, a chicken burrito grande. I was not even two bites in and I crunched into what I *think* was a bone. The waitress, who was at no fault at all, came over and asked how things were. I explained what had happened. She called the manager (no manager on duty?) and the manager said “remake it or offer 50% off.” I chose the 50% off. But you’d think they’d offer more than 50% off when I didn’t nearly eat 3/4 of it. I won’t be back.

This is my first time writing a review for anything I am 22 years old and my girlfriend (same age) and I tried to order drinks the first waitress almost snapped both our id’s trying to confirm if they were real or not. then they brought backup to check our id’s again the 2nd lady made us confirm our date of birth and street address. Both servers were very rude and condescending (the trainee was nice). It’s a shame because me and the group of 7 I was with were excited to go but as locals we will make sure people steer clear of this place. I will never be going back and will continue to talk down on this place forever. First review ever!

We were sat very quickly and brought chips and salsa right away, which is always my favorite part. Salsa was quite bland… which I’ll get to more about that further down. They have free refills of the chips and salsa which is great. Our server (I believe Samantha, black curly hair) was amazing, very attentive, checked on us a lot throughout the meal, she was probably one of the best servers we’ve had at a restaurant, and we eat out quite a bit. And our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering which was very impressive. I gave three stars because the food was very very bland with very little (maybe none) seasoning at all. If you think mild salsa is spicy you’ll love this place. Otherwise, it really just has no flavor and I wouldn’t recommend it at all if you like normal authentic Mexican food. The prices were also pretty high on top of this. It is priced like a fancy authentic Mexican restaurant. Food is 1 star. The restaurant was very clean, and every server/hostess there including ours was very friendly and welcoming which is why I gave the 3 stars.

The last time we came here at 4:30 on a Sat. night, we had to wait about a half hour for a table, but the food was good and oh those so revered Margaritas! (2 months ago.) Last night we were surprised to see so many empty tables at the same time and day, but hey, no waiting is good. Out came the chips and salsa soon followed by our Margaritas. The first thing I noticed was the 2 salsas were both bland and then, I tasted the Marg… They went and changed it! It tasted quite ordinary and definitely not like they used to be. I finished mine, sober as a judge. If that wasn’t bad enough, our food came out and there wasn’t a hint of heat or spice in anything! My chicken flautas tasted like boiled chicken in a wrap and deep fried. Dry, bland w/ no heat. My wife liked her dish, but no heat there either. Our server was awesome and how you got the third star , but when we left after 5:30, still no line and I’m thinking we just caught on to what many apparently know. The new owners I hope will catch on to the declining quality and save it before disaster happens. It was sad to see.

It was too busy, so I’ve ordered to go and I had a got a Steak Grande Burrito with fries + an Layer Coconut cake. Clean environment with a decent amount of parking lots.
The meal was delicious but too expensive .
Thanks and I’ll definitely see y’all again if I’m happen to be in town the Most High Almighty Ahayah willing.

The food here is fantastic! The service was great but incredibly slow! Not the waiter’s fault, but it took nearly an hour for our food to come out, for which we were comped 1 drink. We were seated on the porch facing the golf course… Beautiful view but very noisy!
