Los Compadres Carniceria in Avondale. Had crispy tripas, carnitas, and barbacoa tacos. I won’t order the barbacoa again as the sauce it was cooked in wasn’t to my liking. Also had beef chicharones that were excellent. It’s a small place but well worth the trip.

First time here. Came in for the pollo asada special. But oh my goodness amazing workers they have here! The 2 ladies working behind the food had amazing customer service. One of them even gave my daughter a little slice of cake “Cause she’s cute” and they even offered to take my food to the register, since I had my baby in my arms. I could’ve easily done it but wow they were was so amazingly nice! I ended up getting the carnitas special and it’s tasty and the salsa is not too spicy but very flavorful. I will definitely be back to try everything cause of those 2 ladies.

Stopped by for shrimp, first time here, bought 3 pounds. Looked okay there but when I got home to cook it it was horrible dry and to be honest looked like it has been sitting there for months. Mind you I live out in Tonopah so not even the chance to drive back for a refund. Unfair they would sell the food like that especially seafood since it can be so dangerous.

I ordered a carnitas burrito. It was ok, would have been better with chopped onion and cilantro, the tortilla was over cooked and falling apart. The carnitas were too salty and overcooked. The food just doesn’t look like it was cooked with love.. I will not return here again.

No air conditioning. Food is limited to tacos, burritos, and quesadilla. Flavor of the food is not the worst but definitely not the best at the price points and limited selections they. The interior is dark, drab and layout with a covience store type floor plan is much to be desired.

Stopped for taco Tuesday, best $1 tacos I’ve ever had! The smell as soon as you enter the door let’s you know you’re in for a treat. Lots of flavors, I believe he had 8 options all $1 and all were great! Service was great too 🙂

Love this place! I don’t speak too much Spanish, but they always figure out what i want to order. I have tried all the other ones in the area, but this carniceria is the best since it tastes just like how grandma cooked. I go twice a month and drop about $120 and tip the butcher and servers a well earned tip. I even get help to my truck. I always purchase enough for a family meal for six and theres always lots of leftovers . They will also marinate you up anything they got in the butchers display. They just started doing fried fish. I cannot wait to try it out. Thank you for being the best carniceria!

Amazing service. The food was delicious! Tried all of the different tacos! Im a huge salsa fan and found their selection to be just what I was looking for. Fresh produce and meat if you want to cook at home. I will be coming back for sure. Highly highly recommend

I went today and ordered the menudo.
My wife said it tasted like it had a lot of Lemon which she had not added and she refused to eat it. I on the other hand like lemon so I ate it. Now five hours later I have non stop vomit and a rumbling stomach!
I had noticed the lady serving was getting it from a small pot instead of the usually big one all the way in the back corner. That should have been my first sign that this was not fresh! And reheated from who knows when!

Carne asada burrito w/ rice and beans was good. I also got a Chile reyeno and it was also good. I will definitely try this place out again! Oh the service was also really good.
