This taste homemade. It is delicious! Maybe the best chicken strips I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes & gravy is straight fire. Omg and the biscuits!! Dude- they are perfect. This is like your grandma’s home cooking. My new favorite place.

The fried chicken was fresh and seasoned well. I also enjoyed the tenders, which were moist and a pretty decent size. I not a big fan of biscuits, but these were very good. I added some local honey on them and it made them taste so good.
My sides were the baked beans, which were very good. I also got the wedges, I was not impressed as they seemed to have the “frozen” taste. The Mac n cheese was way too soggy for my taste.
I would recommend dining here.

On a recommendation, I decided to try this restaurant, and I’m glad I did. The customer service was exceptional, making for a pleasant experience from the start. I ordered the banana pudding and was thoroughly impressed. My son enjoyed his BBQ sandwich, though he wasn’t a fan of the bread and removed it. I opted for the leg, thigh, and wing meal, accompanied by mac and cheese and green beans. We both found our meals delicious, and this restaurant has now earned a spot on my list of go-to dining spots.

Definitely worth the stop for lunch, the ladies working here were great and the food too. I got the 4 finger meal with mashed potatoes and baked beans. Both my wife and son loved their food as well.

So I just left Umphrey’s in Jackson Tn and when I say I am one of the loyal customers ever! They have a young girl pregnant running the window today with no customer service experience. This is wing Wednesday I have never waited on wings on Wednesday and if I do they will tell me how long the wait. The. menu has one price with my receipt showing another price with her telling me not asking me did I want to wait, the wings went up in price and laugh that the menu is different with an extra charge for using a card. I ask for my money back with a manager now having an attitude out of breath rude and gave me my money back but not my extra fee for using a card! I go to Umphrey’s every week they always have great service but today they are the worst ever! I will never spend a dime there anymore! They lost a faithful customer!

My chicken biscuit and hash brown patties were amazing! Very fresh traditional Southern food yum can’t wait to go back there! Reminds you of Grandma’s kitchen. The workers were all friendly as well!

For a single guy, a better “homestyle” meal spot would be hard to find. Prices are excellent, food is consistently well prepared, orders are bagged correctly and cashiers are speedy and down to earth. Not currently open for dine in and the drive through looks a little weathered to say the least but it’s a great little find.
