We’ve heard so many great things about this place, but have never popped in to check it out even though we live just minutes away.
Tonight was the night…
What a treat, what an experience, just spectacular.
From the time we walked in till the time we left, we were treated like family. The bartender / server “Hollie” was more than accommodating. She recommended their sushi style fully loaded fish roll. Talk about a circus in your mouth. I thanked baby Jesus after I finished that heavenly dish. . Even better, their margaritas and assortment of tequila’s are abundant and off the charts.
Highly recommend…

Pretty solid Mexican food, especially in an area that doesn’t have a ton of diverse food options. The blackened mahi mahi taco was one of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time and the nachos were a generous portion, perfect for splitting! Also, highly recommend trying a watermelon Cadillac margarita, because it was perfect after a long hot day at the beach!

We have been a fan Cachita’s food trailer for years. We moved to the other side of the harbor so we don’t get the chance to go as much. We happened to be in Mt. Pleasant and decided to pop over to IOP to check out Papi’s/Cachita’s and we were not disappointed. We both got the same order and it was fantastic. If you like it hot have them dice up Serrano peppers in your order. They are spicy and fantastic!

Nice atmosphere and street parking available nearby. I wanted to get something to go and eat on the beach and this place had some good options. The Mulitas were amazing! They gave me plenty of filling, the flavors were all there and I asked for extra pico. The bartender was very nice and they made the food fairly quick. Definitely want to come back and try more food next time.

Yes yes yes yes yes! This place is amazing! One of the best before or after beach spots. They have a really good variety on the menu, and it was all packed with so much flavor! I am a taco connoisseur, and I am telling you, you can’t go wrong with Papi Taqueria. I can add this to my list of new favorite beach eats! Nothing beats a fresh suntan, salty hair, a margarita in your hand, and a tray full of yummy tacos!

Fully enjoyed the nachos. It’s a small little taco shop. The menu has plenty of interesting options. And best of all it’s just steps from the beach. We ordered the beef nachos. It was served very quickly. There was a fair number of chips. Perhaps a touch more chips then toppings. The taste was great we enjoyed them. There was no heat at all for these tacos. So you may want to ask for something to spice it up. That would have made them better. I would say $18 all said I’m done just for nachos was a little bit pricy. However it was a good amount for two for a beach day. The other prices are a touch high as well, but it is isle of palm so that is a bit expected. The only reason for 4 not 5 is cost to quantities of the food.

The tacos are terrific, drinks are great, and food is great. It is a fairly small menu, but the tacos, nachos, taco salad, and beignet churros were all top notch. It’s located near the beach, and has a nice little beach vibe. I’d highly recommend!

Probably one of the worst places I’ve been here. Being a local I am sad to make this post but not good food. First of the place was dirty. All of our glasses were filthy (other peoples lip prints and food chunks) I got a Diet Coke 3 times with zero carbonation and our menus were covered in gunk. The nachos were decent but super cold and the cheese was black bean water mix. The tacos were super tiny, tasteless and cold as well. I really wanted to like this place…. Must be drunk to enjoy this establishment lol I’m shocked at the quality of the food bc the reviews looked pretty good. All of of food was cold.

Definitely one of the better restaurants here at the isle of palms sea side. Everything is kind of mid. I wish they served the tacos with 2 corn tortillas instead of one. $8 for one 3″ taco. Still pretty good. My rice in my breakfast burrito was crunchy. the service is really the best though. Better than Windjammer and the rum place beside them.
