Such a great find. Our daughter swore about this place and she didn’t miss. We got three different sandwiches.
The smells like protein spirit. Which comes on toasted sourdough, fried egg, Tillamook cheese and protein choice.
Huevo mutilation sandwich comes on sourdough, fried egg, smashed sausage patty with caramelized onions aardvark aioli. So good and must try. My daughter got the vegetarian patty sandwich. If you’re looking to get coffee they don’t serve it here but there are numerous places near by that do.

Stopped by for the Yolko Zeppelin and really enjoyed it. Personally, I think I would’ve liked it even more with just one sausage patty and a little extra cheese, but the flavors were still on point and it definitely hit the spot.

The staff were great — super friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. I grabbed my sandwich and ate it on the steps at Pioneer Square, watching the city do its thing: a few protesters, a woman yelling about something, nothing too wild… just classic downtown energy.

Overall, really good sandwich, great people, and a fun little moment in the middle of the city. Would definitely come back and try a different one next time.

Best breakfast sandwich in Portland. The sausage is excellent and the eggs are fresh. Friendly service. Will be back.

We got the Sriracha sandwich and the Huevo Mutilation sandwich and both were 10/10!! This food truck is super busy, we waited around 20 minutes for the food but super worth the wait. There are brick steps all around the food truck that you can sit and eat.

Best sandwich place downtown!!!!! I have not been there in a while due to work, but my gawd! The best egg sandwiches ever to touch your tongue! The smell alone will get your mouth watering. That frost bite will have you thinking; “ why have I not had this sooner?” If you have not had a chance yet to visit this gem? Now is your chance. You won’t be disappointed.

We take all our out-of-town visitors here. Delicious egg sandwiches with the local flavor of Pioneer Square.

This past Saturday we treated our nephew to gourmet egg sandwiches from a food truck, something he’s not seen in the Midwest (gourmet anything from a food truck). As we sat waiting in the shade upon chairs provided by IKEA, we listened to the dulcet sounds of the city… the gentle fluttering chorus of coos and clucks of the city pigeons was layered with tinny christian music emanating from a box truck parked in the center of the square. The band was promoting something called Heaven to Earth and its members all stood sweating, crammed in the open box save the drummer, who somehow earned a spot on the paver bricks where he could at least feel the breeze. All of this was punctuated by the shrieks of a woman doing her best to evade a small fleet of security personnel bedecked in bright yellow vests… She came around Starbucks from the North, wailed a hasty retreat, then cut straight through the center of everything, pausing her screams just long enough to hurl an insult toward the box truck full of Christians… Ah, Portland in the summer!

Anyway, the sandwiches were the bomb. Can’t wait until our next visitors give us another excuse to dine here again!

If you’re eating it on the road I recommend passing on the delicious pesto… it gets oily and messy to eat. However, if you have the time to sit and eat with a pile of napkins at hand the pesto is well worth the mess!

Apparently, food carts are very popular in Portland, and a friend recommended we try Fried Egg for breakfast. When we arrived, there was already a short line, always a good sign. We placed our order, and while it took a little time for the food to come out, it wasn’t too long. Unfortunately, there was no seating area nearby, so we took our order back to the hotel to eat. The sandwiches were delicious and absolutely worth both the price and the short wait.

We stopped by Fried Egg I’m In Love and were seriously impressed! We ordered the Vegan and the Sara, and it was packed with flavor—definitely not your average breakfast sandwich. The avocado was a perfect blend with the cheese. On top of that, the customer service was amazing—the guy was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

Yummy Yolko Ono!!! Sandwich has a delicious pesto on it. Long line at breakfast time so we had lunch here with no wait. Food truck so we ate on the steps nearby.

I got the Yolko Ono Deluxe and it was mind blowingly good. As someone who loves (but is constantly let down by) pesto, this was spot on. It was very flavorful. The sandwich had kind of a kick. So. Good.
I got an orange juice, too, and it was also good.
