Shake Shack was so good! The burgers were juicy and tasted like really high-quality meat — you can definitely tell the difference. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
The shakes were amazing too, super rich and delicious and honestly the perfect complement to the burgers. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey — we paid over $50 for two people — but the quality of the food made it worth it.
Overall, a great experience and a well-deserved 5 stars! ✨

We’ve been to the McKinney quite a few times since it opened and have never had an unpleasant experience. My children will actually pick this when given in the options to where we can dine at.
The food is always amazing, service friendly, and wait time never more then 15 minutes. For my husband, two sons and myself we usually spend about 60 to 75 bucks. That’s 4 burgers, 2 sides, one drink, and a shake.
They do have a drive thru but we always choose to dine in.

BEWARE!!! 11/8/25 at 5pm…..What I ordered vs what I received. $13.00 for a mediocre burger! I’m so sick and tired of spending my hard earned money on food and not getting what’s advertised. A penny worth of avocado??? really!?! I’ll never return.

i would like to address the negative comments yes the meals are small BUT they are filling the customer service is beyond what you should receive for a fast food place and clean , caleb made our experience so much better checking on us refilling the drinks make sure we were comfortable the whole time which i appreciate

Ordered two burgers. A double and a single. Ordered a six piece nugget (it was teriyaki or something, so my child wouldnt eat it). But the burgers were delicious. I never really pay attention to ads, so I wasnt expecting “beauty” when it came to smash-like burger. But it was fantastic. Fries felt fresh and crunchy. Perfectly salted. My son loved then. The wings, or nuggets, went fantastically with their Mango drink. Honestly, I paid $50 for three. I was kind of “eh”. Once I ate it, my wife and I will gladly go back.

7/14/2025 – First visit to Shake Shack. The restaurant wasn’t really busy when we arrived. We looked over the posted menu on the wall and decided what we were going to get.
Im not a big fan of the self-help registers or order takers, but we still placed our order on the automated device.
My wife ordered a Double Cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce and Fried Pickles. I ordered the Smoke Shack burger, Cheesy Fries, and a Cherry Lemonade.
After placing and paying for our order, we waited approximately (10) ten minutes before our to go order was brought to us.
A short time later we arrived at home and ate our food. We both agree our food was delicious.
All in all, the restaurant was clean and quiet, our food was delicious. However, the price of food is a little spendy for what you get. Lastly, as I mentioned above, im not a fan of the automated self-service registers. We will most likely return to Shake Shack again.

We went to this place for a quick bite. They had a good selection of burgers. I ordered a French onion burger and my husband ordered a gluten free one. He also ordered an ice tea. Food was good but not extraordinary. Ambiance was good and it wasn’t that crowded when we went. The restroom wasn’t well maintained. I would recommend this place only if you want fast food on the go.

I love shake shack! I had it in Vegas and have missed it. I was so exciting when driving through McKinney. I had to stop. My whole family loved it and we all agree we wish we had a location close to home. My kids who never seem to finish their food ate every bit. The burgers were so fresh and perfectly prepared. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The chicken bites were large and tasty. The restaurant had great parking and was very clean inside. We didn’t wait a long time for food considering it was made fresh. I can’t wait for my next trip though Texas so I can return.

This was my first time ever to try Shake Shack. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! You are extremely limited on how you can order your burger, and the sparse burger meat literally had no flavor whatsoever. When I received my bagged order, I thought I had the wrong order. It looked like I had two children’s meals in my bag!! Their burgers are so small (and my order was for double-patties) and so are their portions for fries. I paid over $35 for awful food and small portions. NEVER buying from this place again! The only positive experience was their staff–so very polite and professional for being so young! They were a pleasure to speak with!! Since I went through the drive-through, I did not rate their atmosphere.
