I visited Tampa during Christmas and decided to try Ming Garden after seeing so many positive reviews.
I’m really glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and arrived hot.
I’ve traveled to many states across the U.S., and Ming Garden stands out for having exceptionally fresh ingredients, generous portions, and very reasonable prices.

If you’re looking for food that truly tastes like up north, this is the spot! We’ve been on the hunt for legit Chinese food and were disappointed every time, until now. We tried this place yesterday and it absolutely delivered. We drove quite a distance to get here, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it. We’ll definitely be back!

My favorite chinese spot in Tampa for 4 Chicken wings‼️❣️ They are WHOLE chicken wings, not cut up and miscounted like everywhere else. A good size to fill you up alone or with one of the specials. Taste is good Price went up…almost $10 just for Chicken wings by themselves‼️But I keep coming back and I don’t live in the area. I drive a good distance…Not a place to sit in. More to take out. Kinda in the hood.

Very good food, especially the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The beef lo main was not the best I’ve had, but it was good. The portions are very large. This place is a very good deal! The interior is set up mainly for takeout like so many cheap Chinese restaurants so don’t go thinking this will be a good date night spot! Lol

I slept on this place for way too long because the location looks sus. But it’s the hottest, freshest delivery of old school Chinese takeout in the downtown / heights area! The portions are huge and my total is always under $20. I order on Uber eats and it arrives popping hot and correct every time (and I make mods to my order) thanks Ming!

Was referred to this place by a friend. I was always hesitant to try it out because the building looks very run down. However I have to say it was very good! Fast and friendly service. The Mongolian beef was amazing and a tad spicy like I like it. Fried rice was also very good. Only thing I didn’t like was the lo mein. It had a strange taste to it. Overall would recommend.

This place is is ridiculous every time I call it’s a I’ve been dealing with this place ever since they open in 1999 they haven’t upgraded nothing I’ve been stop coming up here because plenty of times they been on the nasty restaurant list and now I see why not just for their nasty services but they nasty restaurants rats roaches bugs everything you can name this is one of the worst places you can come to get Chinese food they prices suck they noodles nasty…. RANCID FOUL SMELLING OLD FOOD ! I ordered 10/23 through Uber eats delivery and the food quality was extremely POOR & smelled Spoiled !! . $40 down the drain because I threw it ALL away ! I honestly don’t understand how this place can be open . Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. My husband who eats almost anything said “YUCK!” I ordered from Uber eats about 30 mins before closing and the food came with an EXTREMELY loud fishy & “dirty” smell. Take note I ordered CHICKEN lo mein !!! It smelled Like rotten food that had been sitting in a dirty old refrigerator with something fishy! Maybe it’s left over Spoiled food that others didn’t pick up… idk but The smell was Kind of like a rotten meat. Fresh food shouldn’t smell like that !!! And your customers can definitely tell the difference!! Everyone noticed it. I came close to barfing then threw the whole thing Away! NEVER AGAIN! Reporting this place before someone ends up seriously SICK! Its my fault for not READING the latest comments first buying on Uber eats because I’m obviously not the only one who’s received old bad food ! Especially the chicken
