Stephanie at Noon Whistle was amazing to work with and helped us schedule a truly successful birthday celebration in the Barrel Room at the Lombard location. The customer service from Stephanie during planning to the staff and bartender on the day of the event was absolutely top notch. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, the food, and of course, the beer.

My husband and I have been coming to Noon Whistle for years, and it has never disappointed. Hosting our celebration here was worth every penny. The Barrel Room is very spacious and has such a cute, welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent as well.

As a fun bonus, there happened to be a Bears game on the day of our event, and the brewery provided a screen so we could stream the game right in the room. A Bears win was the icing on the cake! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Noon Whistle for any special celebration.

Food was good. Kitchen was backed up, so it took a little longer to get the food. Getting the beer was fine…no delays.

There was a craft fair going on, which was great. We love supporting local crafters.

A great place to eat, drink craft beer and play pinball. All my favorite things to do. I had the beef sandwich, delicious! Many beers from the Pilsner list and some high scores on the pinball machines. My family sent a search party to look for me.

Stephanie Sears has been the best event manager I’ve ever worked with across all the events I’ve organized. The private room was spotless, the setup was perfect, and her communication throughout the entire process was truly top-notch. Our team and guests had an exceptional experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother event. I will absolutely be hosting more events at Noon Whistle Brewing in the future!

We stopped by Noon Whistle Brewing for a quick bite, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and very family-friendly. The space is large and open, with plenty of seating both inside and out, making it perfect for small gatherings or a casual night out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

We ordered the loaded nachos, which were generously topped with melted cheese, seasoned ground beef, fresh jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo, and a zesty drizzle that brought it all together. The portion was more than enough for sharing. We also tried a few drinks based on the server’s recommendations—each one was refreshing, well-balanced, and paired nicely with the food.

Overall, it was a great experience. Between the inviting ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful food, Noon Whistle Brewing is definitely a spot we’ll return to.

Moving my reviews over from Yelp. This was originally written on 2/25/18:

Really cool local place. The kind of “local” where you can strike up a conversation with the owner and he winds up giving you a personal tour of the place. I always enjoy experiences like that!

I’m not really much of a beer drinker these days but the group wanted to hit up a microbrewery and I was game. The place was crowded on a Saturday afternoon and had the typical microbrewery atmosphere. A little loud but everyone was having a great time. They don’t offer food but they do sometimes have a food truck hanging around. When they don’t you are welcomed to bring in food or have it delivered. I was a little hungry when we arrived and damn near mugged a table full of people who weren’t paying nearly enough attention to their Lou Malnati’s carry out. Fortunately for them, they had thin crust. Had it been deep dish…

About the beer – I tried two:

Blackberry Smack This Black Sour @ 4.9% ABV – this was. A pretty strong flavor but I really enjoyed it. I like an interesting beer and the combination of fruit flavors with a tart finish made this one really enjoyable.

Anfanger Rauchbier @ 5% ABV – I like damn near anything that has a smoky flavor and that extends to beer as well. I don’t know that this is one I would be happy spend the entire afternoon drinking but it certainly was a nice departure from a lot of the beers I generally try.

Certainly a place I could spend more time if. Lived closer. Fortunately the microbrewery thing still seems to be growing so I’m not in any danger of running out of places to try.

Stopped in last night with a buddy as I kept seeing posts about how great the pizza and beer is. I have to say they were right!!! Fantastic job by all at this place. I am typically a sausage pizza guy but my buddy got the beef with giardiniera and it was amazing!!! If you like pizza and beer add this to your bucket list. One more thing, their old fashion is also a stand alone reason to visit.

We hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party in the barrel room. It was so easy to book and the room was the perfect place for the party. Stephanie is a wonderful party coordinator and makes things easy! Multiple guests commented what an amazing space it is. The prices are also really reasonable for everything you get. Tons of food and great bartenders too!

Outstanding beer and food! You don’t know how good a soft pretzel can be until you try theirs, it is incredible! The texas tots are also good especially the chunks of brisket on top but it’s even better with their various hot sauces which are a must try. The beer is equally excellent. Let’s Gummy is remarkably juicy and delicious and now one of my favorite beers of all time!

If I had to critique, I wasn’t a huge fan of the location and how it looks on the outside. It definitely falls short compared to the atmosphere indoors and how great the beer and food are. Nonetheless, I would definitely return without a doubt.

Hosted a party here and it could not have been better. The planning was simple and so organized! The food and service were top notch! The atmosphere was comfortable, private and still open with easy watching of the bears game for the guests who wanted to watch. I highly recommend Noon Whistle for a celebration!
