Had dinner here tonight, it was our first time. We were looking for a quieter vibe and it was perfect as we had an early reservation.
Our server Rachel’s service was 20/10. Extremely kind and attentive and didn’t make us feel rushed when we took time to decide what we wanted.
We didn’t know the size of the pizza based on photos we’ve seen, so we ended up with a lot of leftovers as they are large pizzas . Again, Rachel saw that we had a lot of leftovers so right away when she noticed we were done, asked if we needed anything else, and had the pizza boxes to go without us even having to ask.
We couldn’t decide if we wanted steak, but had heard rave reviews for the pizzas, so went with that.
They also had a Valentines menu, but I appreciated that they had their full regular menu tonight too.
The pizza was super yummy!
The garlic parm fries were good too! Would have loved them a little more on the crispy side but the flavour was spot on.
Overall our Valentine’s dinner was lovely.

We visited there for a reception after a funeral. The food was exceptional. Wholesome flavorful ingredients and beautiful presentation. You can taste the freshness and everything seemed home-made with care. Servers and meeting space were welcoming.

I spent a day in Cornwall with family and chose this restaurant to have a quick pizza meal. I found the pizza menu options to be VERY original and the ones we ordered were absolutely delicious (my group loved the Ranch pizza). The pizzas have very thin crusts and were cooked perfectly. The fact that they offer vegan pizzas with vegan cheese is a definite plus. I feel like it would be justified to shave a few dollars off the price of the lunch menu pizzas though. The service was fast and the server was friendly. The decor is no-frills, very basic.

Went with a couple girlfriends for lunch, two of us are celiac and specifically chose Esca because it has a good reputation and supposedly catered to gluten free diets well. While they did accommodate our request for a GF option with the spin dip (yay!), I was really disappointed when the salad I ordered came with a lot of very wilted and rotting lettuce. They readily replaced it with a pizza ($21) with a gluten free crust (+$6). The bill for 1/3 of a spin dip, 1 pizza, and 1 cider was $50. Worst part is, my friend and I had a reaction to the food, suggesting there was cross contact or gluten contamination somewhere on the line. Judging by the nastiness of my salad, I would say that the cooks on line were not at their best. Who would plate a salad like that? Really disappointed. None of us will be back.

Stopped by today for lunch. The place was packed, but the service was still timely, and friendly. Our server Caitlyn was amazing. We ordered the Whipped Feta appetiser, Ranch pizza and Calabrie pizza. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The portions were good sized, the ingredients were clearly excellent quality and quantity. The flavors were balanced and unique. An amazing venue I would highly recommend if you haven’t gone yet!

I can’t believe I’ve never given Esca a review up until today… anyway. The staff and food? Amazing! However… something to address, I don’t know what who needs to read this but PLEASE give Abby a raise or a promotion or something because she is one of the single greatest reasons I keep going back and I always bring guests. Abby not only makes you feel like a VIP but she definitely makes you feel loved and like you’re a close personal friend of the business. Esca is a gem in this town. But I’d personally contribute a great deal of that success to Abby, as well. An easy 5 star!

Nice place we stopped at for lunch. We got a table right away. Airy, modern, rustic industrial feel and also has a patio if you wanted to sit outside. I really liked the decor. Staff were so friendly and patient with our questions as it was our first time here. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner!

Comfortable, sleek and lofty atmosphere with great service. Appetizer portions were ok, but could have been warmer. Thin crust pizzas size are excellent, but ours were slightly overcooked. Great beverage selection, and again – kudos to the staff who made our experience very good. Looking forward to going back!
