Excellent experience for a group lunch last week. The atmosphere is nice. Can be a bit loud though (echoing). The servers were nice, and explained what the dishes were. Water was refreshed often.

– Orange Spice Tea: this was a unique taste, a bit spicy.
– Chicha-Morada: nice refreshing taste
– Maracuya-Passion Fruit Juice: also refreshing
– Pan con Chicharron: this is one of their signature dishes. Did not disappoint. Crispy but tender pork slices, great aioli.
– Beef Empanada: excellent
– Causa: looks like a layered silo with the ingredients. Excellent taste.
– Fish of the day: didn’t ask diner, assume it was also good.

It’s not the cheapest place, but the food is well made, and tasty. Will definitely come back!

The best food I had in years. I had the Lomo Saltado and my son had the Aji de Gallina. The sauce in the Lomo plus the special hot sauce that came separately was divine. We also had the Lucuma with chocolate dessert, out of this world. I will certainly return to this place. The owners seem to know how to satisfy the customers.

A local gem! Everything we tried was delicious ☺️. Chicken empanadas (not pictured), butternut squash soup (special of the day), salmon with garlic rice and salad (special of the day), and aji de gallina. We also tried both non alcoholic drinks and they were unique and a great complement to the meal. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely delicious! The staff was very attentive and we even had a visit from the chef. The food was wonderful – this was our first time experiencing physician cuisine and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. I can see this becoming a regular spot for us.

Hands down one of the best Peruvian spots I’ve been to. The lomo saltado with pasta huancaína and the burrito were SO fresh and tasted super authentic. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The customer service was amazing too they kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back. I truly hope this place blows up because it deserves all the hype!

I almost don’t want to write this review because then everyone else will know how amazing this place is and the wait would be insane. But this place deserves every single star and all the hype. They are now open for dinner and it is now my go to dinner recommendation. Make sure to try the Chicha! Their signature drink made with purple corn and spices. Not too sweet and goes perfectly with the food. They don’t serve alcohol so their drink options are non alcoholic. The food is DELISH! The menu is not extensive so go ahead and get one of everything so you don’t miss out. The empanadas are perfectly baked with plenty of filling. And as you know you can’t be a great Peruvian spot without good sauce and this sauce is FIRE! It has the perfect amount of spice and kick. So go on and dip to your hearts desire. The paella was AMAZING! I usually can’t finish a paella because it’s too salty or overly large but this paella was not that. You can eat one by yourself if you’re hungry or share with one other person. And you get their signature sauce on the side although the dish is plenty flavorful on its own. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Their alfajores are MOUTHWATERING! and not too sweet! Their shortbread cookie sandwiches with a delicious dulce de leche filling. One is not enough since you won’t want to share. They also had an off menu passionfruit dessert that was like a pie in a cup. Tart to perfection. I can’t say enough about this place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The place filled up pretty quickly but there were still plenty of open tables. They are kid friendly and have high chairs and a kids menu. They play Latin music but not too loudly and they have a couple screens depicting videos of Peru. This is a family owned restaurant and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Come one and all! This place is GREAT!

Bravazo is a nice addition to downtown Pleasanton! The restaurant is very clean, the staff friendly and you can tell from tasting the dishes, the care, intention and love that goes in the preparation of the food.
It was nice to go on a Sunday, walk the farmers market and stop for some brunch. The breakfast burrito was amazing and the portion quite generous!
I recommend Bravazo for anyone who appreciates food made with the heart. It’s a place where you can not only have a fantastic meal but also feel a genuine connection to the craft behind it.

Sunday breakfast and enjoyed the service and food! Between our party, we had the burrito, scramble and French toast. Flavorful all around and yummy signature sauce! no pressure for us to rush as it wasn’t too crowded that luring.

So glad to have another type of cuisine downtown. Came in on a late Friday morning for brunch. Service was so friendly and it only took about 10 min or so to get our food. Tried the burrito and pan con chicharron. Both decent portion and delicious! Will be coming back again.

Bravazo is a local Pleasanton gem offering an international touch through its Peruvian menu. The dishes stay true to their roots while remaining approachable for anyone who enjoys dining beyond the usual fast‑food fare.

We started with the ceviche, which was excellent. The freshness of the fish was unmistakable, and the flavors were bright and clean. The giant Peruvian corn—slightly sweet, and a signature of authentic ceviche—added great texture. The portion was generous, easily enough for two people to share.

Our main dish was the lomo saltado, cooked to order and beautifully executed. The beef was buttery soft, and the onions and tomato base carried the comforting depth of a home‑cooked stew. Served with white rice and thick French fries, the dish felt hearty and satisfying. Every ingredient tasted fresh, almost as if it had come straight from the farm.

Service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The ambience, however, could use improvement. The dining room felt a bit drab and generic, the temperature leaned on the chilly side, and the bare tables—without tablecloths—didn’t quite match the price point of the dishes.

Despite the higher cost, the food itself is undeniably fresh and very well prepared. Bravazo delivers excellent Peruvian flavors, and with a few tweaks to the atmosphere, it could easily become a standout dining destination in downtown Pleasanton.
