After a hectic work week, I thought treating myself to Golden Corral’s breakfast would be a nice change. Unfortunately, after a 30-minute drive to the nearest location, I was greeted by an uncomfortably cold atmosphere inside the restaurant. Once I paid and found a seat, I eagerly approached the breakfast buffet, hoping for a wide variety of options. However, I was dismayed to discover that there were no substitutes for pork products, which is a major concern for me since I don’t eat pork. This drastically narrowed down my choices and left me feeling frustrated.
As I attempted to assemble my breakfast with what little was available, I was disappointed to find that the grits were not only cold but also incredibly watery. This lack of attention to food quality made my experience even worse. Overall, between the chilly environment and the limited menu options, I left feeling dissatisfied and resolved never to return to Golden Corral for breakfast again.

I’m from San Antonio TX and often go to the one off 410 and Evers because (my opinion) it’s the best of all the others in San Antonio. So I was quite skeptical of this one in Austin TX, but to my surprise, it was actually better! Now, don’t get me wrong, the staff was the same; friendly and visited our table often enough to keep our drinks filled and take away any empty dishes. I’m talking about the variety of food, freshness and taste. It was GREAT! HIGHLY recommend going, whether you live there or just visiting. You won’t be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Golden corral has a large buffet with a lot of choices and the food is reasonably decent. This is not a high-end buffet, but for $17, it’s great. It’s fun to be able to try small amounts of a whole bunch of different things, and this would probably be very entertaining for kids. The butterflied fried shrimp were my favorite thing here, but pretty much everything else that I tried was good. Well actually the lemonade was not that good so get a different drink. The salad bar was large with lots of fresh choices, and they had an enormous selection of desserts, including ice cream.

I bag not been to a Golden Corral in years. When I saw this one today I decided to stop in. Everything was just as I remembered, great! The fried chicken must have the same recipe franchise wide awesome! All the sides were the same as well. Hopefully I’ll get back soon!

I visited this restaurant location with my family members. The location was able to be seen from the highway but wasn’t so easy to get to it. After locating the restaurant, it was easier to get back to the roadway. The parking lot was large enough for my full size truck. I noticed they had quite a few handicap parking spots as well. The lot was free and spacious. It was a bit of a ride to find the location off the highway. We arrived early and found that the breakfast was still laid out with lunch starting. The food items were just okay. My family had a few relevant issues, but were satisfied overall with the service. The salad bar and dessert bar were good presentations, but the ice cream machine was not working, so no ice cream.

All the food was delicious, staff was amazing , but today I asked for well done steak and got a med rare . I still keep going since it is one of my favorite restaurants.

It was Thanksgiving and of course they were totally slammed all day. That did not affect the service, quality of the food, the entire atmosphere was off the charts great. The manager was very polite, making sure anything necessary was taken care of, though I did not see or notice anything that needed a managers attention, everything was totally under control. Everyone, the kitchen staff, wait staff hostesses, all were doing more than their personal job keeping everything flowing like a well oiled machine.
By far this was the best, most well organized, and the entire staff worked together, restaurant of this type I have ever been to.
The most memorable aspect would have to be how well all the workers worked together, even the patrons were leagues above par. It felt like a really huge family reunion, where everyone in the family got along and loved each other in spirit, not just paying the word lip service.

I didn’t care for Golden Coral… until I came here. Absolutely LOADS of choice and a good variety. The place is clean and staff are nice. All options are well stocked. The food actually tastes good too, which was my main complaint at other places.

I came here with my family, my mom, my little brother, and my older brother. We all paid, got our food, and sat down. Almost immediately my brother started feeling nauseous and didn’t eat anything at all. Not one bite. He decided to wait in the car, and my mom said we’d just take his food to go since it was already paid for.
We ate, got seconds, finished, and then went to take out the food my brother never ate. That’s when they tried to charge us again. This was not a takeout order and it wasn’t extra food. It was the same food that was already paid for and untouched.
They first tried charging us $16 and then lowered it to $5 after I argued because I wasn’t going to pay for something we didn’t get. The fact that this even turned into an argument is ridiculous.
Customer service was terrible. The manager was rude and dismissive and the waiter was just as bad. No understanding at all, just attitude.
Overall a really frustrating experience. This place clearly cares more about squeezing money out of people than treating customers with basic decency. I wouldn’t come back.
