Unfortunately the food is over priced and mediocre at best. The bacon was so salty we couldn’t eat it, while the rest of our food was bland. I ordered the country potatoes and half of the potatoes on my plate were raw.
This restaurant also does not allow for any substitutions. My son wanted the pancake breakfast from the kids menu, which came with eggs. My son doesn’t care for eggs so I asked if he could get fruit instead. I was informed that I would be charged extra for the fruit as they do not allow substitutions.
I ordered 2 kids breakfasts for my boys. Their drinks came to the table in glass cocktail goblets. The boys absolutely loved it, but as a parent, it was a nightmare. Repeated spills were made and we were constantly having to watch to make sure the glasses didn’t get knocked over.
Overall this place was a miss for us, but it could be fun if you are looking to have a few drinks and catch a game.
I gave the service 4 stars only because it took awhile before someone greeted us at the front door. All the tables were full, so all the servers were very busy. However, a timely update on a waiting period for a table or just a hello would have been suffice for the 5th star.
I loved their eggs Benedict selection as it covered a whole page! I will be back just to try the other ones. And my classic eggs Benedict didn’t have any bad surprises as it tasted as good as other good ones I’ve had at other restaurants. My friends didn’t have any complaints as they gobbled up all their food. My crepes were filled with fresh strawberries and blueberries that were fresh- not mushy or too soft, signifying older fruit.
So, yes, we will be back and actually come to this area just to try more on their menu.
4/5 because I ordered a chai tea latte & 10+ mins later I was told they do not have that anymore but it was still on my bill afterwards.
Also we had a side of country potatoes with our meal but realized later that we never even got them. I will stop by again in future and hopefully I have a 5 star visit then.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and happy to explain items on the menu.
The menu is HUGE and if you suffer from decision paralysis, be warned.
The irish coffee is legit. Get it hot for the full experience.
Tried the Irish Benedict and the corned beef in it was fantastic. Lots of fresh onions and peppers in the country potatoes.
Mimosa menu is huge. Definitely recommend the black widdow.
