I am a total clean freak and would never eat with my hands in the car but this food changed that. Midway through eating (with a spoon!), I caught myself using my hands and was genuinely shocked . We ordered the Qabli Pulao combo with chicken and beef kofta, and another Qabli Pulao combo with beef kebab and beef kofta since they were out of lamb shank. Everything was incredibly flavorful and comforting. This is an authentic Afghani restaurant, and I am absolutely obsessed.

We got the family combo platter which was a huge serving size with many different kebabs. The chicken tikka kebab was delicious. All the kebabs on the platter were infact cooked well and served in a bed of rice with a side salad. We also got a chapli kebab order – which was a little dry, but still tasted very good. Oh man this is the place to be. We ordered the 2-4 family size meal and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely serves more than that. Chicken and beef were tender and delicious, and the rice was spiced just right. Seems family run and the staff was very pleasant and nice. Be sure to allow extra time for big platters. We’ll be back to try more items!

Tried their Lamb shank Kabuli Pulao platter for two. Total price is $42 with all inclusive. The amount of rice is eniugh for three.
Make sure to call them beforehand in the number given in maps to know about availability of lamb shank. It is as tasty as it is shown in the picture. The meat melts in mouth. The Kabuli pulao with raisin and carrot is amazingly tasty.

Very disappointing experience. I came 10 minutes before the posted closing time, but the staff told me the kitchen was already closed and refused to take my order.
If the kitchen closes earlier than the restaurant’s listed hours, that should be clearly mentioned online and at the door. Customers plan their visit based on those hours, and this feels misleading and unprofessional.
I didn’t argue with the staff, but it was frustrating to be turned away even though I arrived before closing. This kind of service makes me hesitant to come back or recommend this place to others.

Food was very very good! We came in from out of town and after landing needed a god place for food. We found the place on google with great reviews and decided to stop by. The food was fresh and hot and tasted delicious! I highly recommend the family platters!

Place is absolutely great and the employees are the definition of passionate. Food takes time preparing but that’s because it’s authentic and freshly made. Best Kebab place in Pittsburgh, I guarantee it. The store is tidy and clean and the employees are professional and polite. The lady that runs the orders is sweet and knows how to execute their clients needs. I have nothing to complain about as the service and experience gets better every time I stop in!!!!!!

This place absolutely rules. Food is wonderful. The red sauce is actually spicy and that’s awesome. The people are friendly and service is always good.
