We were celebrating a bon voyage with 5 other friends. We waited a bit for our reserved hibachi table but not too long. We were started off with a house Japonese salad and a bowl of miso soup which was outstanding. I had a sushi sampler for an appetizer, the tuna was fresh and good. For our main meals we had the filet mignon, shrimp, chicken and fresh white tuna served in the standard hibachi style, complete with grilled vegetables and grilled rice with the whole typical hibachi chef show. Everyone seemed happy with their food with the shrimp maybe being the best, tuna was a bit overcooked. The place is quite loud during rush hour with people celebrating birthdays at almost every table. All in all a fine experience, pretty much what you would expect from these types of Japonese restaurants.

I travel from coast to coast all the time and this has been the absolutely BEST place I have found and is my new obsession lol. Not a single thing I have had here has been anything less than AMAZING!!

The food here is genuinely great — high quality, consistent, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed what should have been a really enjoyable experience.

It felt like the staff was very focused on turning tables quickly. We were there during Valentine’s Day weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday, and while I understand it was a busy time, the pressure to leave felt excessive. We had ordered food and were still eating and drinking when another guest at our table placed an additional order to take home. The waitress visibly rolled her eyes, which was uncomfortable. After that, she repeatedly walked past the table every few minutes, staring in a way that made us feel rushed and unwelcome.

Later, I asked the owner/manager if someone could sing happy birthday. The reaction I received made it seem like the request was unreasonable, and when a staff member eventually came over, he appeared confused about what was happening — which made the moment awkward rather than celebratory.

Overall, the experience with the staff felt strange and uninviting, which was disappointing given how good the food actually is. I’d return for the cuisine, but I hope the service approach improves — especially when guests are there to celebrate special occasions.

Made a last minute reservation on a lousy beach day and went in with low expectations but was not only pleasantly surprised, but impressed. Hibachi dinner was very good. Meat and seafood quality was good and portions outstanding. I also had a sushi appetizer which was outstanding. A welcome change from island prices I thought the prices here extremely reasonable and value for money top notch. We ordered varying hibachi dinners from the ny strip to chicken and steak and the Fuji which included lobster, filet, shrimp and scallops. BYOB.

First and last time visiting this place. From the very beginning, the experience was unpleasant. Even though we were the first customers as soon as the establishment opened, we were greeted with a negative attitude. The food was just “okay,” nothing special for the prices they charge.

The worst part was the staff’s behavior. The servers seemed to be hovering, waiting for tips. My son left a reasonable tip for the chef, and even after paying a $70 bill for only two people, we were stopped in front of all the customers so they could demand more tips, while the servers stared at us and talked among themselves. It was truly embarrassing and completely unprofessional. In the end, my son ended up giving three times more than he should have just to avoid further discomfort.

If you want to throw your money away, be publicly mistreated, and be served with attitude and zero professionalism for food that doesn’t even surpass the quality of a basic Chinese restaurant, then this place is for you. As for me, thank you… but there are far better places out there.

Service sometimes is not amazing but I have to say I love their food!!!!! Sushi is on point and the bento box options are perfect!!! I have been here for hibachi also and it’s equally as good. My favorite place around the area

We had an enjoyable hibachi dinner here with a very skilled and entertaining chef serving us. The food was all excellent, although the soup was a bit salty. In fact, the only flaw to the evening was that they were short on chefs that evening. So although we had reservations, we had to wait a half hour to be seated, and it took more than another half hour after we finished the soup and salad courses for the chef to come out.

Food was great! I ordered Beef Sukiyaki and satisfied my craving. We ordered Salmon Teriyaki bento and enjoyed it as well. I love the freshness of the Sushi.
This was my first visit at this restaurant. We had to wait over 30 minutes and waited a while to get asked for our order. It was annoying to have to ask for a waitress to get our order taken. Good thing the food was good.

FOOD
We go strictly for the Hibachi. They start you with soup and salad. Fried rice, Lo mein, fresh grilled veggies, and your meat/chicken/seafood choice. My choice is the Filet and Scallops. It’s never disappointed. My wife gets the Gluten-free meal which is plentiful and I’m sure equally good.
SERVICE
The server on Friday was ehhh… going through the motions. Generally they’re pretty pleasant and at least efficient. While they do the legwork, the chef is the one doing the meal… which takes us to —>
ATMOSPHERE
Our Hibachi chef was Ocean this time. Yep, pronounced like it’s spelled! He was great. There were kids at the table and he was sure to give them special attention.
Don’t wanna spoil the entertainment, but Ocean made the experience a lot of fun. Don’t forget the saki shots!
COST
Very reasonable for Hibachi. It’s BYOB which helps with the expense. Tipping is always tricky! Chef v server… hmmm.

Have a blast and enjoy!
Peace…

This place has delicious food. I love the seafood teriyaki platter. They give you a very large portion of shrimp, lobster, and scallops. For starters, try the shumai and gyoza. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it.
