The ramen was good-pork base. Good flavor and not spicy. They have spicy if you want it. The Philadelphia roll was fresh and had the perfect balance of flavors. The miso was flavorful and many bites of tofu. Edemame was good for sharing. The chicken fried rice was special made with gluten-free soy sauce. I appreciate that they took the time to make it special. The only thing I didn’t like was all the balloons. Latex allergies are a thing. There is no reason to use latex balloons. They had foil ones, but they also had the latex balloons. Next year please refrain from the latex.

Disappointment is the most applicable word to describe our recent experiences here.

This used to be one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite. “Quick” is now a joke. We placed a pick up order at 6:48pm, quoted for pickup at 7:11pm and finally received our order at 7:40pm. Why we waited that long is beyond me because our food was cold, lacked any side sauces, napkins or utensils. Not to mention the lack of customers, or communication – the employees said “okay” when we said who we there to pick up for, and then called our name. No apologies for the 30 minute delay, no “can we get you any sauces or plastic ware.”

Next, the value: two “premium” sushi rolls, a kids portion of shrimp and rice, a side of noodles and the “big boy platter.” For a grand total of $60, with a mysterious $8.50 for “taxes and fees.” Last time I checked the food tax in Derby was 4%, not 20%.

I hope your kid has a tiny stomach because the portion wasn’t even enough for my one year old. 4 shrimp, barely a scoop of rice and a joke of an option for “no peas or carrots” as there were maybe 3 anyways. All for $8. It’s a blessing my child can’t complain because the rice tasted like it was made three days ago (and about as warm as being straight out of a fridge) as did my side of noodles.

You’re truly better off going to the Chinese counter at Dillon’s for a cheaper, more filling meal. If this was a one off experience I would reconsider this review, but recent visits have been consistently rending towards this unfortunate experience. The only thing granting a 2 star review is the fact that the sushi rolls were decent and the food was edible.

My wife has mentioned this restaurant a few times. So today I decided it time to try it out.
I called ahead and placed my order for the beef and broclie meal as a carry out order. The individual said about 15 minutes which was fine as I was a bit away from the location when I called. Went in and within 4 minutes of sitting down my oder was ready. ( 8 minute drive) paid and took my lunch back to eat. The portions were great and the flavors, seasonings were also very good. Not overloaded with soy sauce and salt. Which Ruins a meal in my opinion.

The veggies were portionate to the beef. The noodles and rice portions were also perfect. I highly recommend this resturant.

I love going here. They are always friendly, clean, and fast. When I’m having a difficult day it’s nice to go in and get some delicious Pad Thai with chicken.

I arrived at 5:05 PM to pick up our to-go order, but even an hour later, the food still wasn’t ready. I had my four-year-old waiting in the lobby, expecting a 20-30 minute wait, not over an hour. The place was completely empty—literally no one else was there except for one person who came in, grabbed their to-go order, and left. I definitely won’t be going back. On top of that, there was no communication at all about when the food would be ready. I also overheard a staff member discussing how much tip the woman who picked up her order had given them, which I found rude and unprofessional. The girl at the front cashier seemed completely clueless about what was going on or how to do her job properly.

Came here as a DoorDasher. Had to wait 10+ minutes for food, with multiple other customers coming through and getting their food first with no explanation from store.

Other than that the atmosphere of the store looks good, and the food smells wonderful, but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Waited 20 minutes more when I got to the restaurant AFTER they sent me notification that my food was ready. The reason you call ahead, is so you don’t HAVE to wait. Then after waiting…. The food was horrible. I love pad Thai and theirs was just bad; dry and NO flavor. Won’t bother to go back to this location.

I feel great service severely fresh food, The strip mall does not do this justice. This place should have its own restaurant. The chef is phenomenal, and the waiter staff was quite friendly and very helpful. Food also came out really quick. And the crab rangoon is the best crab rangoon I’ve had in the area.
