Everyone is very helpful and friendly! What a wonderful stay. The pool and whirlpool are clean and comfortable, too. The person taking care of breakfast is so nice and helpful. She’s very hospitable and communicative.

I arrived here at 7:20am. The music was rock with Ozzy and similar music. There were about a dozen people in there over 60. I asked if the music could be changed. She said no because its their Halloween music. C’mon!!!
I ordered the meat lovers 3 egg omelette that was $16.50. I knew it was on the expensive side. But I don’t treat myself often. I asked to add onion and mushrooms to it. I also ordered a side of hollandaise sauce too. It came with homefries. I asked for sauted onions and celery with the homefries. She asked me what kind of toast and I said raisin.
My breakfast came and it had good presentation. I could only eat half.
She brought me my receipt and I was glad I was sitting down!!!! I would have fallen over otherwise!! For just myself to eat breakfast, it costs me $30.24 for 3 eggs, potatoes and coffee!!!! This place charged me for EVERYTHING!!!! Not just a small price for the extras, but a lot! Come to find out, the cheese wasn’t even included in the omelette price!! That was an extra 1.50. The extra veges were 1.50 (x2) each plus .75 for maybe 16 little bits of celery. Oh. And the raisin toast, .25 extra! I gave a $5 tip also.
While I was ordering, the waitress never mentioned there would be an upcharge on any of this! She even asked what kind of cheese I wanted. So I thought it came with it.
I purposefully chose this restaurant because its a smaller mom and pop diner. So I thought it would be cheaper. NOPE!!! I will never go here again!! The day it costs me $30.24 for my breakfast plus a $5 tip, is the day they no longer get my business!!! So shocked and disappointed. I would have gone elsewhere to one of my favorite places if I knew it was going to be this much!!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

Been coming here for almost 20 years, since I was in high school, and have loved it the whole time! So glad the inside has barely changed, but I am glad they take cards now.
If you go, get the golden platter, the cheesey hash brown casserole is the BEST!

Contactless menu is really helpful and nice. The variety of unique and fun food options is more than enough for me to come back! Service was friendly and good. Some food came out very fast but others took a really long time. Portion sizes are HUGE. Prices are great. Most of the food was really good. Needed some extra salt for flavor but over all cooked well and tasty. Interior is a bit outdated. Will definitely be back!

We’ve been going here semi frequently for breakfast, always extremely good and worth the price. Went for lunch today and was a little disappointed. The food was still decently priced aside from the up charges. It wasn’t as good as their breakfast spread. Will continue to go here though!!

The best breakfast in the city hands down! We there today for breakfast. The service was on point. The coffee was hot and fresh and refilled as it got low. I ordered the Gobbler omelette with cinnamon bread and breakfast Potatoes. I’ve tried every breakfast in rochester and this was by far the best testing omelette stuffed full with lots of turkey, bacon and cheddar. If anyone’s looking for a great place for a great meal, I couldn’t recommend golden boys more enough! Enjoy!

Went on a weekday afternoon with my two kids. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food came out really quickly, which is always a plus when you’re eating out with kids. My chicken fried steak was exactly what I was craving. So good. Generous portions. We’ll be back!
