“A little piece of our homeland” is how Don Pancho describes Palenque Grill®, the Ochoa family’s latest venture. It began in 2005 in Laredo, Texas, after Don Pancho’s long journey in the restaurant business. In 1975, he started with El Pollo Loco® in his hometown of Guasave, Mexico. First time here the hostess and our initial waitress was very friendly and helpful. My mom was turning 80 and they have mariachi from 12:00 to 2:00 every Sunday so I wanted to make her day special they let me set up the table with balloons and gifts even helped add extras
The mariachis were awesome sweet understanding played my mom her song a few times because she has dementia and requested it a few times
The food was delicious
My only complaint was our waitress was not tentative at all. Didn’t come around ask if we needed anything didn’t check in on us I had to stop another waitress to ask for Waters ketchup.
But the crew were very sweet and got together to sing my mom happy birthday English and Spanish
Overall it was a great experience would definitely come again

Overall decent restaurant. Beautiful decor centralized at the mall. Plenty of parking. If you had Taco Palenque then the flavors will be familiar. They do offer menu items that they do not offer at taco restaurant. With that being said, it’s double the price. I honestly do like the food. The service was excellent. The chips salsa and beans were excellent. But for the price, I’d rather stick to the taco restaurant. You’re paying double for the same flavors. More upscale, because of the adult drinks and the environment but for the food itself, I would stick to the taco restaurant. Plenty of parking, nice variety of food on the menu.

We were invited by the mgmt to dine in and experience what looked to be a refreshed take on the restaurant — and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive, and the food? Absolutely outstanding. Flavorful, well-presented, and the portion sizes were way beyond what we expected.
It’s clear the team is putting in serious effort to make a strong impression. If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be to consider adding a few more servers or lightening the table load a bit — our server did an amazing job, but was definitely stretched thin.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a spot we’ll gladly return to. Hats off to the mgmt team for taking charge and setting the tone right.

I can’t remember if the server said her name was Christine or Christina but wow, the service was amazing and literally everything here was great! You guys exceeded our expectations in every way possible so thank you so much! We will definitely be back here again soon.

We went for dinner at this restaurant on Friday night. It was amazing. There were mariachis playing. It was a family atmosphere. The food was fantastic. The margaritas were on point.
In short when we return to Corpus Christi, we will definitely be back ! Clean, organized, and well done. I just wanted to say, even though it was a family atmosphere. It could certainly also be a date night, depending on where you sat. And I’m sure the wait staff could figure that out for you. They all were clearly well trained, and loved their jobs.

Me and my buddy came down to corpus for work and came across this establishment and are so happy we did. We had an amazing server named Constance who really made the experience worth coming. She made us laugh and had a great conversation with us, made sure we were always taken care of , food was fresh and delicious. 100% recommend her and will be coming back.

The restaurant looks nice aesthetically, but service is to be desired. Our waiter couldn’t say what the house margarita meant to my elderly father. We all ordered margaritas and he got his (house isn’t very lime-y more sweet). We ordered a flight and it took 20 minutes to receive. The restaurant had all of maybe 4-5 tables, so they weren’t busy. These were not very good ritas. We came here because of reviews but left immediately after our drinks. The food is ridiculously priced. Who pays $30 for tacos? Check out other places as this one has a lot of work to do.

What an amazing dining experience! We were treated like family and the food was absolutely delicious. My wife and I had the most enjoyable night out and we have a new favorite restaurant. We had the best fajitas I’ve ever tasted, can’t get enough. Drank some delicious Mojito’s and then finished with a scrumptious dessert trio! We highly recommend eating at Palenque Grill.

I’m a foodie! Food makes me happy! The North Pacific Mexican Cuisine menu intrigued me. I have been here twice and have ordered/ shared the Volcanes, Ceviche tostadas, tortilla soup, Pollo asado, enchiladas callejeras, Ribeye chicharones, chili queso, flight of margaritas, strawberry margarita, and… that’s all I can remember right now, but I gotta say that every darn dish I tasted/ ate was flavorful, delicious, cooked to perfection! When the hostess seats you, the server with the chips and salsa is right behind her! I love that! Johanna was our server the second time, and she was awesome; attentive but not bothersome, had great suggestions, and served our foods perfectly timed. We didn’t feel rushed. The most memorable part of our visit (the second time there) was when the manager from Palenque Grill at La Cantera, San Antonio, stopped by our table and had a great conversation with us. He told us a great story, I’ll never forget it.
