The ramen was absolutely delicious — flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. I also tried the takoyaki, and it was just as tasty. You can tell that care goes into both the quality and presentation of the food.
The staff were friendly, smiling, and provided great service throughout my visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I was very good and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend.
Takoyaki is always freshly made so please be careful when you take a bite because it will be piping hot! Retains heat well, so I kinda just ruin it and poke a hole in it haha, it works! Great umami taste, nice sauce and flakes on top! Also, definitely get the yuzu mango tea! Delectable!
Something I wanted to bring up is how my spicy tan tan ramen was dressed, looked a little concerning, and unappealing but! Still tasted good of course and that’s what matters!
One more thing would be how small the matcha cheesecake slice is. I was laughing for a minute, trying to compare it to things around it. It’s a mini slice that comes with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. I’m not too sure if it suits the $7+ price tag, but what can you do. It is creamy at least!
Service was pretty lackluster. You could tell they weren’t having fun with how busy it was. We were also told to wait outside after we added our name to this list when we arrived, with the host telling us you can’t wait inside and block space. We asked if we could get a drink at the bar and he said, ‘no wait outside’. Later, we saw people waiting inside exactly where we had been standing. They seemed to be friends of the host, so I guess didn’t have to wait outside on a hot day like the rest of us peons.
First time trying tempura shrimp in a boa bun and it was amazing. They also have yummy mochi ice cream with good portions. Great customer service overall !
the service is pretty typical, i went on a rather slow day and enjoyed being able to enjoy the atmosphere and my food.
The chashu was a little on the lean side, not quite as melt-in-your-mouth fatty as some places, but still solid. Noodles were legit, with great chew and perfectly cooked. I’d come back to work through more of the menu in this casual vibe.
Loved the cozy interior and welcoming staff, with plenty of comfortable seating available.
We ordered the octopus balls and vegetarian (tofu) ramen. Everything was served fresh and hot.
They dont guarantee non bacon/pork contact, so thats one thing to keep in mind if you are a vegetarian or have other religious dietary requirements.
The food and ambience however were amazing.
