This place is fantastic! Great ramen, edamame, Gyoza, and sushi (I do the vegetarian sushi—not a fish fan). Great options for vegetarian sushi rolls though! Everything I had was fantastic! The service was great too, even during a busy Friday night! I was very impressed, and will definitely go back.

Hama is our families go to sushi spot. The fish is always fresh and the rolls are delicious. It’s by far one of the top sushi places in Utah county. If you order enough sushi it gets brought out on a boat too which is fun. Just a warning, they do get pretty busy on the weekends, so I’d call ahead and make a reservation and order quickly.

Hama is one of our go-to spots! Great sushi, consistently high quality, and excellent service. Our favorite rolls are the Hama, Jenny, Executive, Valentine, and Kill Bill rolls. And if you like a little heat, try the Hot Girl roll! This is the best sushi you’ll find in Saratoga!

Food was really amazing I loved it, service is on point. I really recommend it. I got to sit at the bar and talked with the chefs they are really nice people. I order the Hawaii roll, seafood Naruto roll and salmon nigiri everything was so delicious, 10/10. This is my new favorite sushi place.

First time here. Three of us went for dinner. Very good all around.

We ordered:
Gyoza – not a favorite. Frozen and precooked? Soft texture. Good sauce.
Seared Pepper Tuna Tataki – very good, but not sure on value.
Toro & Sake Nigiri – toro was like butter, both excellent. No wasabi on nigiri.
Flame Dragon Roll – good smoke, not too much.
Hama Roll – favorite, excellent.
Kill Bill Roll – too much cilantro, all we could taste. Least favorite. You can see it in the photos.
Golden Salmon Roll – crab salad too sweet, but good.
Las Vegas Roll – good.
California Roll – crab salad too sweet.
Coconut Ice Cream with Tempura Bananas – banana to ice cream ratio wrong. Needs more ice cream.

Good rice. Very tasty.
Paper napkins vs cloth.
Plastic drinkware vs glass.
Soy sauce bottles are generic Kikkoman glass type vs nice ceramic.

Excellent service. Brie was a star!!

$128.86 with tax (before tip).

I realize there are a lot of critiques here, but these ideas would make everything good, great! A five star rating from me is very good. Would definitely go back. Likely adding it to our monthly rotation.

I would consider Hama in my top five Utah sushi restaurants.

Literally! This is THE spot. I would always drive to Salt lake to eat sushi down there. Until we tried this place! No one can beat their Service in General! The way my family and I are always treated with respect is such a good feeling! Their rolls are so good! Sometimes they have long wait times but let’s be honest, it’s for a reason and if you are mad about their times then that’s a you problem. Nothing irks me more than rude customers. I don’t like when a good place is treated poorly. You guys are amazing! Thank you!

Great place, good sushi, and quick service. Hands down, I would visit again. Prices were very reasonable. It’s worth giving it a try.

UPDATED: I made an online order and left work early to pick it up before I had to run another errand. I arrived on time but ended up having to wait twenty minutes for my order… then it was the wrong order. No one apologized for the wait or the mix up, but rather ignored me and another online customer who also had to wait for her order. I love those sushi, but the next time I need to make an online order I will shop at the other local sushi place. They haven’t organized the online order procedures like many other restaurants have.

I had lunch here on a Friday afternoon. We were one of about 5 other tables of other customers. We ordered about five minutes after arriving, and waited for 30 minutes for our rolls.
It was worth the wait, we knew it would be because of other reviews. We tried the holly wood, executive (so great), Mt. Fuji and the Hot taco roll (which had spice but nothing too hot). They were all incredible and well worth the wait. The ginger is great quality too. We are excited to come back again.
Wear a jacket if you easily get cold like me, it seems all sushi places are cooler than other restaurants.

The food was amazing! My wife and I got the Hama, hot girl, Valentine, and the flame dragon. Every last bite was so good!

The flame dragon is on fire when it comes and has the most delicious smokey flavor.

Our waitress Jenny was fantastic. She made sure our drinks were filled and our food was good. It was a busy Friday night but we were able to get right in and have a great experience.
