I’ve ordered food from Karibu Restaurant multiple times, and there’s always an issue—except for the samosas. The Congolese goat meat is consistently as hard as a rock, making it nearly inedible. To make matters worse, Uber Eats refuses to issue refunds, leaving customers stuck with overpriced, low-quality meals. Karibu Restaurant needs to stop serving burnt, subpar food to paying customers. People deserve fresh, well-prepared meals, not trash.

This was supposed to be poulet mayo, but it’s not even close—it was disgusting, old meat with an odd yellow paste on the chicken. If you don’t know how to cook this dish properly, please hire a better cook or a real Congolese chef who knows how to prepare it. First and last time ordering here Poulet mayo here

It’s takeout only but WOW! It’s fantastic. I had the whole tilapia (medium), jollof rice, plantain and ginger juice to drink. The tilapia came fried and not breaded. So it was gluten free and it was fall-apart tender and juicy. The flavors are out of this world. This is a welcome addition to the local food scene. It’s in the back left corner of the African grocery store. This is the only reason atmosphere is rated lower. If this place had a few tables….look out!

Tried this place for the 1st time today. Ordered the goat egusi soup with fufu for delivery on ubereats. Portion was good. Food arrived hot. Decent price. Tasted delicious. Only negative is that they forgot my hibiscus drink. Contacted ubereats and they arent even refunding me. Its the restaurants fault for forgetting my drink. I dont like feeling like my money was stolen.
