A unique Thai dining experience that my wife and I loved! We enjoyed some authentic Thai street food dishes and loved the decor in the restaurant. Our server was so nice and personable and provided great recommendations when we ordered. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!

Wow, where to begin. The food- excellent. We got the dim sum and every dish was ‘wow’ worthy. It was one of those meals where you’re just talking about the food because it was so unique, delicious and well crafted. I highly recommend the duck tacos and the beignets. The service- amazing. I didn’t catch her name, but the waitress was kind, attentive, and made me feel like I was eating at someone’s house rather than a restaurant. Real auntie energy and she had great recommendations. The atmosphere- so unique, clean, well lit, eclectic, homey, full of character. The ONLY thing this place was missing is an aquarium and a disco ball.

This is the kind of place you can being your best friend, your mom, your boss- and everyone will have a good time and great food. Please go support this amazing restaurant and staff.

This was the most incredible restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time from the food to the service to the restaurant decor. The menu was very interesting – they have your classic Thai dishes plus a lot of unique options I hadn’t had before. We ordered lots of small plates and one bigger noodle dish. The duck rolls and the chicken curry samosas were stand out dishes. The service was also impeccable. The woman working was so friendly, provided great recommendations, and made the meal an even more positive experience. Very cool decor, a fun shop, and great music. We will definitely add this to our rotation.

One Night in Bankgkok is a bistro / lounge connected to Duangrat’s Thai Restaurant. A minimally marked door to the left of Duangrat’s opens to stairs for the bistro above.

My son and I ordered a variety of Dim Sum and a Pad Thai entree to share. We each had a Thai Tea which was refreshing and usual Thai Tea fair. At $5 per drink, it was fairly priced. The #2 Kanom Jeeb was excellent – filled little dumplings that were prepared well and quickly brought to the table. I found these to be the star of the Dim Sum we ordered. The #17 Meatballs ping were densely packed which gave them a slightly chewy texture but were well seasoned. Served with peanuts and a sweet chili sauce, they were good and we both liked them. The #18 Scotch eggs were delicious although the egg itself was slightly dry. The dish was well seasoned and the meat surrounding the eggs was perfectly prepared. The Pad Thai entree was good but not the best I have had. I always order the Pad Thai when I’m new at any Thai restaurant as my measure of the restaurant. The Pad Thai was good but slightly under seasoned and missing the peanuts on our order. The Chinese Beignets we had for dessert were well worth the calories although I should probably be avoiding desserts.

The service was outstanding with the waitress being all over the dining space and highly engaged without being annoying. She made recommendations and when I return, I’ll probably try the Mexican duck fusion dish on the Dim Sum menu. I think the quality of the food and service was well worth the price, we over ordered and over ate but it was worth it. I felt that each dish was appropriately priced. This is out of my way but will definitely return soon. This was a great casual dining experience.

Well I love this place and I wish it was closer to a Metro stop!

Cute second level cafe on Leesburg Pike near Bailey’s Crossroads. Just look for Duangrat’s and park. You’ll see it on the left side of the building. They serve dim sum style Thai street food at affordable prices. The food is delicious and fun to share. They also have a small shop with snacks, small gifts, spices, sauces, etc.

I especially liked the duck rolls, veggie tempura, banana tamale, coconut sundae, and beignets!

One Night at Bangkok is a true hidden gem in the Baileys area – super quaint, cozy, and easy to miss in the best way.

The food is very affordable yet consistently high quality, and honestly, nothing on the menu is a miss. I try something different every time and it never disappoints.

It’s more than just an eatery too; there’s a small bar and even a little store, which adds to its charm. The space has a nostalgic, comforting feel that makes you want to linger.

I often see the same lovely lady running the place, which gives it a warm, possibly family-run vibe. As much as I’d like to keep it to myself, this place truly deserves more love.

Went to here for dinner last min due to a friend’s IG story. Boy did this place not disappoint. At first, it was a bit confusing entering since it’s literally on top of another Thai restaurant, but as soon as you walk in, you can tell by the décor that lots of love and attention were put into this place. From the neon signs to the bamboo decorations, not to mention the lovely lady who was waiting for our table. The food was top-notch due to its unique taste and texture, like fried boiled eggs!!! The price is average, expect to be around $30-40 per person, but it’s highly worth it. Support local businesses!!

Hidden gem I can’t gatekeep!
Hands down one of the best hole-in-the-wall spots I’ve been to. I had the Gai Kaprow with Kai Dao, and my friend got the roast pork curry the curry alone is worth coming back for .

The atmosphere is chill and unique, blending a mini mart vibe with a cozy restaurant. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service? Incredible. Our server (possibly the owner) was so kind, made great recommendations, and you can tell she’s passionate about what she does.

Definitely adding this to my regular rotation!

We had a wonderful time with Wow as our Guide to street food in Thailand. The small plates, tapas style food was a great way to sample a variety of all very fresh, hot and tasty Thai dishes. We spent 3 weeks in Thailand and this was a great trip down memory lane. Plus, we found Sriracha in their store! Highly recommend them, you’ll have a wonderful night with the best Thai hospitality.

Great variety—the pork bbq was the best, but the curry was also excellent.
