I recently visited Sun King Brewery with a group of friends and had a really good experience overall. The space is large with plenty of seating, so it’s a great spot for groups. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy conversations.
The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick. Prices are reasonable, especially for a place that offers such a fun social environment.
The food was just okay — not bad, but not the main highlight. That said, if you’re heading out to socialize with friends, grab some drinks, and enjoy a relaxed night out, I would definitely recommend Sun King Brewery. It’s a great gathering spot with a welcoming vibe.
Would I come back? Yes — especially for the atmosphere and service!

A busy brewery with a couple of food outlets and long queues for food. I had one beer, which was nice, then took my food outside. It was good, and there was live music being played in the plaza which added to the ambience.

Definitely my go to spot in Carmel, and Connor behind the bar is my go to guy. That guy has a deep knowledge of beer and always has the perfect suggestion for what to try. With how deep the menu is on their rotating taps, it’s nice to be able to talk with someone who can ask about your tastes and immediately know what to give you. It definitely turns each trip to Sun King an experience, and you don’t get that just anywhere. Couldn’t recommend Sun King or Connor any more.

We visited Sun King Carmel based on friends’ recommendations, but unfortunately it was a real disappointment. Some of the items we ordered were prepared incorrectly, and the staff member taking our food order seemed quite uninterested. The chicken tacos were especially tasteless, and the cheeseburger we ordered from the kids’ menu for our child was served cold.
On the positive side, the nachos and the beer selection were excellent. It’s a nice place to enjoy a beer outside on a summer day, but I don’t think we’ll come back for indoor dining or food again.

One of my favourite spots in the midtown Carmel. The place offer a variety of seating inside and outdoor, with food options separated. Chicken loaded nachos was absolutely delicious. The tacos were good too. It’s a great hangout spot with friends, family.

We worked with Chelsey organizing our son’s engagement party. We arrived early and had plenty of time to decorate. It was an amazing space for our 45 people who had come to surprise the newly engaged couple. We had excellent service from the three servers, Jenna, Jen and Anna T. The food from Queenie’s was superb. Anna kept us up to date with our bar tab. The bar was amazing and we heard nothing but great things from our guests.

Our server Tiffany was fantastic. I asked her to come up with a “surprise flight”. (Pick the best) that she thinks go good together.
Came back as a solid palette choice of 4 great beers. She was also peraonally welcoming. Solid Shout out
