Massa Mia is an Italian-inspired restaurant and sports bar located inside the Mashfactory Sports Complex. We serve pizza, pasta, wings, burgers, and family-friendly favorites for lunch and dinner daily, with breakfast available on Saturdays and Sundays. The facility can be busy during practices and games, which may make the parking lot appear full—however, our restaurant often still has tables available, and walk-ins are welcome. Join us for happy hour specials from 12–5pm and enjoy convenient parking in the front lot along Route 212.

There is a small sign above the door with the restaurant name, but it’s almost impossible to read from the road as your driving and looking for this restaurant. A sign by the road would be a HUGE help as not all of Massa Mia’s patrons are local, some are in from out of town and staying at AIRBNB’s/hotels or just passing through the area.
Which leads me to my next point: Having a restaurant inside a sports complex where parents sit for lessons, games, practices, etc. is absolutely genius!!!
On our order was burgers, a chicken wrap and the steak meal with alfredo. The steak wasn’t cooked properly twice, but the waitress took the meal off of our bill even after I told her she didn’t have to. The alfredo was incredible. I’ve never seen alfredo made with mushrooms- so I simply picked them out. The burgers and chicken wrap were great.
We are a travel softball family, so we enjoyed sitting among all the gorgeous fields and indoor practice area. The atmosphere is very fun- I wish the sports complexes in our area had a restaurant on the spot. We’d drop a ton of money there- haha!
All in all, it was a solid 4 star experience.
I highly suggest investing in a sign near the road to make it easier to find.
The biggest issue was the food, ALL OF IT, was cold and stiff and hard to the touch. It took a while to get our food, we figured maybe they had a lot of online orders or something (there were 2 other tables there while we were there. Def not very busy at all). When they gave us our food the cheese sticks were cold and the cheese was stiff from sitting. We got kids chicken tenders and fries, neither of which were even slightly warm. We got a pizza, again, cold and stiff cheese. My husband got the Alfredo which before stirring it up, was hardened on top and cold and stiff. The spaghetti we got and corn dogs were also hardened and cold. We’ve been to places where maybe most of the food was sitting waiting for the rest to finish… but in those cases at least ONE dish is hot. Or warm. Nothing that came to our table was warm or fresh in the slightest. The dishes used to bring the food out had no heat at all on them. It was gross to look at and gross to eat. They forgot our salad and were forgetting the other tables food as well. Mind you at the end of our experience there were 3 total tables 1 of which were just having drinks while their kids played baseball.
It is NOT authentic Italian food in the slightest which we kind of expected being as it’s in a place where you play baseball BUT the prices for these dishes were very very pricey for unauthentic, cold, hard food.
The food would’ve tasted very good if it wasn’t hard and cold. It was an extremely bad experience would NEVER go back and can’t believe for how expensive it was that was the quality of an experience given.
We were seated upstairs overlooking the baseball training portion. It was loud and distracting with kids running everywhere. Granted, it was our fault for choosing this environment for a private party, it’s just an odd atmosphere for an Italian restaurant. It seems more appropriate for a sports bar, including menu of that sort. There appeared to be better areas in the establishment to seat us as a private event.
The food was very disappointing. The portions were small for the high price. I ordered a mandarin salad with an extra cost for steak added. The steak was extremely overcooked. There were a few smashed slimy mandarin orange slices. I didn’t finish it.
Our waitress was pleasant.
