We went to all the pinon coffee houses in albq and none of them had biscochito donuts. This was the only location that had them. Our last hope! The donuts were warm and delicious and the coffees were amazing. The staff was friendly. We are coming from out of town and this was the best location.

I love pinon coffee house! Mainly because it’s local and all the beverages are delicious! I love it even more because I realized today THEY USE COFFEE ICE CUBES!!! Frozen coffee, so your iced lattes stay cold but don’t get watered down. GENIUS. Ugh I love it I’ve been telling everyone I know about it today . Go get a coffee from pinon ASAP!

The 4 of us had hot and cold coffees, we all agreed they were delicious. I loved my lavender honey cold one. One of us had a burrito and enjoyed it. Great friendly atmosphere. Much better than the big coffee chains, IMMO

Coffee is my favorite but the service is insane. One car in line when I pulled up to the drive thru at the speaker. Sat behind them for 5+ mins. Pulled up to speaker another 5+ mins. Now there’s 6 cars behind me and none on their way to the window… did someone call in sick? But it’s usually like this. If there’s more than 2 cars in the drive thru be prepared to wait 10-15mins just to get through. And by the time I’m done writing this, I still haven’t ordered my one coffee. I ended up just leaving after 10 mins of sitting at the speaker.

The most unique coffee I’ve ever had. After hearing so much about this local New Mexican coffee for so long after moving here finally gave it a try. Unique and unique. I totally get why fans of this coffee have a hard time bringing other coffee down their throat. I tried the basic plain latte to get the flavor.

VARIETY: The best in town. So many unique and wonderful flavors , most with some spice added though. Not a fan personally but I was inclined towards some options like the pinon and maple walnut flavors.

BUDGET: $4 to $6. Well worth your buck honestly.

LOCATION: In the main road very accessible in the drive through at an amazing location in Rio Rancho just opposite to Intel. If working in Rio Rancho, this could perfectly work as your daily coffee stop.

VIBE: small space. Casual and cozy. Spent more time here than I planned.

Went the other day for a coffee and my drink tasted watered down, which has quite literally never happened in the past. The environment of this location also seems to have lost its charm in the past few weeks. Seems like it’s time for me to find a new coffee shop.

I came here to try my first ever Pinon coffee. The staff was great and helped me fix something that I liked a biscochito iced latte. The atmosphere was good – I gave it 4 stars because it seemed like the machine noise was a little louder than I normally experience in coffee shops but overall, great place highly recommended!

This location is insanely inconsistent. I stopped going here for a while because it was inconsistent with drinks and then they had better management for a bit… now it’s back to being bad. They weren’t even busy. Drinks are completely unmixed with syrup at the bottom and straight up milk on top. They got my order wrong twice. Every drink was wrong and then the remake not drinkable. Only giving one extra star for because they are super nice and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Updated with another star because they made it right and refunded my order when I brought it back several hours later – they have great service.

The Mexican Spiced Latte and the Bear claw are staples for me from here. They’re both delicious and not over powering in their flavor profiles. The drive thru was timely and the Barista was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable.

First visit to this location. I informed the employee at the front that I had just placed an online order, provided the name on the order (Mel), and mentioned that it might not be ready yet, so I would take a seat and wait. This was acknowledged with an “okay.” Despite that, I was later corrected in front of other employees and told what I should have done, even though I had already done exactly that. The interaction was uncomfortable and could have been handled more professionally. As a result, I am unsure if I would return to this location.
