Do not eat here. The food is digusting and way overpriced, that one tiny cheese dip and literal slop was $35. The cheese dip alone was $8. Insane. Genuinely the worst experience ive ever had at a mexican restaurant. The server was nice but thats really the only positive thing I can say. Horrible experience. The portions are super small but honestly thank god because the food was terrible anyway.

We love Habanero’s, and especially Rosie! We live in Florida but have kids/grandkids nearby so are frequent visitors to Woodstock. A visit is not complete without a trip to Habanero’s. Rosie always recognizes us and remembers our drink order even after months away. The food is consistently great (fajitas, quesobirrias, soup, dips), and the skinny margaritas are our favorite. Also the restaurant is great for couples or families, very kid friendly. We just love it!

We loved this place SO MUCH! We live a good ways away and were looking up a place to eat in Woodstock, and wound up at Habanero’s Taqueria. Right away, we knew this was a fantastic choice. The customer service was beyond good, an incredibly helpful and friendly staff there to serve us. The food was outstanding. There were some standard food choices, but there was some variety too – each dish arrived at our table and it was such a delight. The presentation was wonderful, and the quality of the food was so delicious. I don’t remember ever writing a review for a restaurant before, but here I am, a day later, looking up this place so I can tell you that yes, you want to go here. We loved it!

Ordered Pick Up for the California Burrito
– Was ready super quick like 15 minutes (ordered around 8pm)
-The food was great! Portions were perfect, I was worried the burrito would run small but not here.
-The California burrito isn’t like other ones you might get, I’m used to there being lots in there but mine was only steak. Lots of steak though! That’s on me because I just assumed.
– Over all with the touch of lime I added the food was great and I am full I didn’t get a tomato slice with mine but that’s no biggy! I’m from Colorado and just visiting so I’m happy to have found some good Mexican food first choice!

Man what a bummer… we just really did not enjoy any aspect of our meal here the other day.
First thing that stuck out were the prices, everything is priced quite high for what you get, they are charging fancy/elevated Mexican food prices for mid to low quality food which is a shame.
The $7 guac came in three tiny scoops, enough for a handful of chips at best and it was BROWN and watery… very unappetizing. I can’t remember the last time I sent something back but I let the lady know it looked gross and it was eventually taken off the bill which was nice.
My steak burrito… I was pretty surprised at the portion size — the burrito was packed with meat, and the rice and beans were enough for two. Sadly I soon discovered why they are so generous, the steak was so chewy it was inedible. The rice was crunchy, and the beans were a thick pasty mess.
The service was great, our waitress was super kind and attentive, looked like she could tell we were bummed but she stayed bright and cheerful.
There’s a million Mexican places in the area serving better quality cheaper gringo Mex chow, I just can’t fathom a reason to return. Our bill was $50 for three entrees and no drinks.

Stopped in a few weeks ago for a quick meal and now this restaurant has become our favorite Mexican. The food is outstanding and the service is top notch! We love the chicken burrito bowl and the chicken tortilla soup. Both have fresh ingredients. This is our fourth time eating there. So glad we found it! Don’t let the location deter you.
