I was looking forward to ordering a burrito at Chando’s down the street but was warned by the cashier that it would be a 30 minute wait. I was not about to stand outside with nowhere to sit with the noise of the cars whizzing by just for a burrito that at $15 is not worth the wait. Still under the spell of eating Mexican food, I jumped in my car and hit google maps for alternatives. Lucky for me, El Forastero was less than a mile away. That turned out to be a great decision because I walked into a nearly empty restaurant and a friendly cashier waiting to take my order. I order a fajita style street taco and another regular chicken taco to go. Both were delicious with fresh veges and meat cooked just right and generous portions. Oh yea, and a fresh salsa bar with a free bag of chips to take with me. All of this with a small horchata to go for around $13.

They don’t deserve even 1 star. This is the worst place EVER! OVER PRICED! OVER COOKED! We ordered rolled tacos which were burnt and rock hard and ordered a carnitas burrito and the dog wouldn’t eat it! They wanted $7.00 for beans and rice.

Not the greatest experience I’ve had with a super burrito. Our order must have been more difficult than Chinese arithmetic or rocket science. My wife and I both woke up sick to top it off. I truly appreciate the cashier she did everything in her power to fix her order and to put a smile on her face. For that I’ll give it two stars.

I’ve been coming here for 6 years. Today I was so annoyed I decided to write a review. There’s a new girl at the drive thru window. I ordered 2 kids chicken nugget meal. I pull up to the window and when she charges my card, she asks me for a tip? Never had that happen to me at a drive thru. I was caught off guard and she’s just staring at me I’m like ok 15%, didn’t really want to… it’s a DRIVE THRU. Then when she hands me my food, she tells me have a nice day, thanks but uh do the kids meals not come with drinks anymore? She looks confused and says oh yes and goes to fill two cups with drinks. Going to let me drive away without my full order and asked for a tip? My kids like that they get a bunch of fries, only reason I come to grab the kids meal here. …anyways thanks for reading my rant. I drove down to El Burrito for my food.

I’m being generous by giving them 2 stars . I went there and ordered just 1 churro.. they’ve always had a sticker on the window saying that they are 99Cents. After ordering , I pulled up to the window, prepared to pay 1$ , the lady looks At me crazy and then says, “that’ll be $2.99.” Without questioning her or giving her a hard time, i just get 2 more dollars,& i give her a total of $3. And then she closes the window, comes back 2 minutes later, gives me a penny back (no receipt), and then closes the window again. A whole entire 7 minutes later, she comes out to the window with the one churro that I ordered. She hands it to me and it is EXTREMELY hard. I mean, hard as a brick. Smothered in HELLA sugar and HELLA cinnamon!! It was flat out HORRIBLE!! the harshest, most disrespectful, churro that i’ve ever had to wait for !!! I would never , ever go to them again and I don’t recommend that anybody else does either.

Great prices. Food is good. I ordered a carnitas torta and shrimp burrito. Took about 5 min in the drive thru but it was fresh. Burrito could have had more flavor no seasoning on shrimp. but torta was really good.

Ordered a chicken super burrito which they messed up on. Only put chicken and nothing else like rice, cheese or beans. I asked for no sour cream and no pico, instead it was empty with only chicken. Returned my food and they still messed up. The lady taking orders could not get my order straight to save her life ♀️ I had to repeat it literally 6 times. All I wanted was a simple super burrito. Over rated food and prices. Will not return nor recommend. But, I guess you get what you pay for in the hood.
