As a destination, we went in early so it was quiet – hence the low atmosphere score:-) – Everything else was absolutely spot on and it shows.

Good food let down by slow cooking times and simple mistakes. We booked for an early lunch in the run up to Christmas, as the panto is on at the nearby theatre. When we arrived it wasn’t too busy inside and we were quickly sat and orders taken. However there seemed to be no urgency from the kitchen to cook the food and everyone’s tables seemed to be waiting a long time. Whilst we were kept updated about the food wait from the friendly serving staff it was becoming unpleasant as our young children were being restless waiting for their lunch, and when the food eventually came for whatever reason the adults meals came out before the kids food. Although a simple mistake to make in my opinion it is unforgivable for a restuatant to make young children wait to the end to be served having already had a lengthy food wait

We had a meal at pizza express tonight for my daughter’s birthday . In total there was 12 of us .
We were looked after from start to finish impeccably, the service was top notch – which is hard to find at many places these days .
The starters and main pizzas arrived all in good time , the table was constantly cleared of used plates and more drinks offered frequently .
The food was all 10/10 , hot , no mistakes with any orders and all left to feel like our custom meant something to them . The deserts were incredible too.
All in all – fantasic !

You can really feel the Christmas Eve atmosphere here – warm, welcoming and full of family spirit. The restaurant was cosy, festive and perfect for spending quality time together. The food was delicious as always, and the service made the evening even more special.

I want to be kinder because PE has always been my preferred choice due to the quality. Took a few minutes for anyone to notice we were waiting to be seated and to her credit our server Martha, tried really hard to please. The food was good for me however my friends were disappointed with their starters, saying the chicken gougons were tasteless. Just not as good as they used to be sadly and like everywhere prices continue to rise.

The food is the same as always, and we think that Pizza Express is the best of all the pizza chains. In this one, which was quiet at lunchtime, the service was exceptionally good. A very friendly and attentive waitress helped us to sign up for a special offer that saved us real money, and the food came promply. My wife has a mobility scooter and they were very welcoming and helpful in accommodating it.

Food was delicious. We had the garlic prawn pizza and the American double cheese – both so so good. Free doughballs if you get the app (which the staff encouraged us to do). Service was incredibly quick and always very lovely and helpful. Desserts were gorgeous too.

Excellent quality pizza that all the family enjoyed. Lovely restaurant in a good location with friendly, helpful staff. We went on a quiet evening so didn’t need to book and food came pretty quickly.
