The food however was delicious. Did not lack flavor and was well prepared. The portions were perfect .Highly recommend Nonas meatballs.Vongole had the perfect amount of lemon .Tasty but did not control the dish and allowed class to shine.Pasta and eggplant was delicious.Right amount of sauce and eggplant steaks were crispy even under the sauce.
Price point varies from moderate to high on some dishes
Service was very good.Ronan was attentive, engaging and was good at his job.
Use the public parking lot and its a short walk to the restaurant
The servers and hostesses are sweet and attentive (shoutout to our server, Grace), but it being a new place and with its growing popularity, it may take a moment to be attended to – at least for now. All the staff work very hard to give you a great experience.
Food was great! My girlfriend and I tried two of their choice pizzas on the menu and was blown away by the freshness, aroma, and taste of our food. They paired well with the mixed drinks they served us (which are equally as impressive, if not moreso) the authenticity of this place is enhanced not only by the servers, but by the food as well. Had a lovely desert with an espresso to close out the evening.
I do highly recommend this spot for date night, business meetings, or a night out with friends. I know I will be back to try some of their pastas and entrees fairly soon.
We sat down for an early dinner and immediately felt uncomfortable. There were nearly 20 staff and managers milling around. This continued throughout our dinner and made us feel in the way instead of patrons.
Our server greeted us and upselling spilled out of her mouth like we were sitting at TGI Friday’s. Our orders arrived promptly with one dish piping hot and the other lukewarm. The pasta in the lukewarm dish was not cooked enough. Not al dente; chewy and almost hard. After alerting the server she seemed afraid to tell the chef and we offered to “chew” on our pasta so to say.
The meal culminated in a kitchen fire that involved the klaxon of the fire alarm and a visit from the fire department. No direction or explanation was provided by the multiple staff (except that we heard someone whisper that they were asked to pull the fire alarm) we were nearly finished with our meal and stepped outside to pay our bill.
I’m not sure why the vibe was controlled chaos but we did not enjoy ourselves. Remove the one bad dish and a better dining experience and our rating still would be limited to 3 stars.
The meal itself was delightful. We started with burrata, an Italian wedge salad, and flavorful meatballs. For the main course, we enjoyed Papalina and a gluten-free pasta with chicken, both of which were outstanding.
Overall, it was a memorable celebration, thanks to the delicious food and attentive service. Highly recommend!
On the positive side, their service and drinks were great!
